Hi Mark, Noticed you are using HDRXR550. Im using CX130. Hope you can help me with my question. When you are transferring the vid clip from the cam to pc, how do we get the date/time stamp to being display when playing on the pc? Hope you can help me with this.

@nabalshah every video clip you shoot have date and time record automatically, you can view it on windows system, or Sony Picture Motion Browser software.

@markchern hi mark. i can see the date/time code when i play it via thee handycam, but when i copy to other media (ext HDD,pc) which i copy it from the handycam menu, i can't see it when trying to edit using video editor. even if i play the clip using Win media player, also can't see.

because the A33 body didn't design a socket to plug-in the tripod remote control cable.

you have to choose the A33 remote control unit : RM-S1AM , RM-L1AM , RMT-DSLR1

only work as a normal video tripod.

it has VCT-80AV can handle for 5KG, but cannot remote control for Canon.

@vageta12345 a high standard satellite disc have wireless remote control as you said, it can remote control pointing to any direction, but I still did found tripod have such design.

or you can search from wireless video surveillance camera stand, it can be remote control by computer software.
