@supermega1111: You can go hyper, but not in either Sonic 3 or Knuckles stand-alone. You need to lock on both, which results in 14 emeralds to find. Upon getting them you get Hyper Sonic, Knuckles and Super Tails.

@SMB1982426 why would he slow down? sonic games are suppose to be fast paced and straight to the point. they arent gonna slow him down. he supposed to be able to run so fast to break the sound barrier. sega wont slow him down and most of his fans dont want him to slow down

So you miss 2 special rings.
