Love this scene, you can see the nervousness in her face. And when she hands him the glass of milk, her hands are shaking ever so slightly. A brilliant performance in my opinion. The entire movie rocks from beginning to end. It's hard to take my eyes off of it once the movie begins. And the ending has me crying my eyes out. I love you, Mathilda.

The people talking about this being pedo... Those people need things to be black and white in their lives. It makes things easier for them to understand, it is a coping mechanism that helps them survive. So instead of addressing these two characters interactions as true love, and having to invest themselves into understanding what it is. They address it as pedophelia because that is what the intial visual information tells them. It is easier to understand that, then to learn what it really is.

There is most definitely a romantic relationship between Leon and Mathilda, however, it crosses no sexual lines, it is "true love".
