  • Kari ur hot...

  • or you could pry the top of the door open and push the lock with a stick or something

  • if you use the remote door lock on the key , that will often set the dead locks , as well as the cars immobiliser , and probably the alarm , so that tennis ball theory is a crock .

  • Fuck I just locked my keys in my car. No tennis ball to even try...

  • well actually this is bollox, because it does work, but not with all cars, i know for a fact it works on the peugeot 206 but not on the 207 for example, so in actual fact now if they want to prove this as a myth they have to try it on this car! but i know myself it works on the peugeot 206!

  • @MrNially69 did you really try it and it worked?

  • @mcjohnalds45 yes it worked on my fathers peugeot 206 but not my 207.

  • even if you could lockpick. your still a fag

  • Well that's a Dodge Caravan, you can use almost ANY Dodge, Chrysler or Plymouth car key you want in the door and it WILL unlock it, just wiggle up and down really fast while turning the key, trust me it will work, and it will start the car too as long as it doesn't have the sentry key engine immobilizer installed.

  • *how any, dyac

  • As a locksmith there's literally no way this would ever work, locks don't open by you just inserting the key you have to turn it. Can't see Howard amount of air pressure would raise the pins or wafers to their individual correct heights then at the same time or after, rotate the plug!

  • They tested one specific car out of thousands. Way to prove a myth.

  • can't i just kiss the key hole and blow it with my mouth? who wants to always bring a tennis ball..?

  • i actually did this and it worked, but i had to thump the shit out of it

  • @crazylewyboy prove it on a car with no centeral locking then

  • Dua guy called remote a key well guess its a electronic key but usualy a key hooks onto remote

  • this does work with very old locks from the 50's up unitil around the 80s, the special services were given a pick lock kit and a similar object in the shape of a tennis ball with a small hole in, but you have to punch the tennis ball with a flat hand (and with the palm) my uncle told me when he was part of the special services, but he told me modern locks work in a different way.

  • You gotta open the Key hole first,Duh.

  • carrey i love her i want to marry her

  • As usual they should end the test with good old explosion.

  • I'll tell ya how to open up your car without your keys...use the handle..they never said the car was locked...but...if it is locked..just bust the window..

  • Ok enough. It has nothing to do with tumblers. Many models of power locks work with air pressure. My brother had and old Lincoln and all he did was get under his car, pull out a little hose from the power lock blow into it and the door opened. That is the basis of this myth. I don't understand why they never acknowledged this.

  • @gargamel6699 Yes it does. In a pneumatic system the air pressure drives the actual lock mechanism. The lock cylinder itself is not pneumatic.

  • - years later -

    720p, we meet again.

  • A lock needs to be turned with tumblers in the "up" position, not only was the lock not being turned but air pressure is not enough to old all 5+ plus tumblers up simultaneously.

  • with the new youtube, you can get a comment that can be liked multible times. just write what i do and click like 20ish times and come back, its soo cool ( hold control when liking )

    C:CMNDprompt

    C:echoOff

    C:multiclick:ctrl

  • idiots..

it works only with cars which use air pressure for central locking

  • @Biotektan No, it won't work with them either. The lock cylinder is not part of the pneumatic system. You could pull a hose and blow pressure into it with some success, but blowing air into the lock cylinder will never work. If the lock cylinder, which is open to the atmosphere, was open to the pneumatic system, the locks would never work.

  • worked on a jeep wrangler !

  • I'd just stick to the old fashion coat hanger xD

  • This bored video made 2 million views!

  • This isn't a fair test. They had a limited variety of cars. This works on older cars with the old fashioned levered locking system.

  • @Seguris LOL. WRONG. This has no chance of working ever on any kind of lock.

  • @omcx1e Really? Then explain how it worked on my car.

  • @Seguris It didn't, you are lying. It's not possible, Anyone with even a little knowledge of how lock cylinders work will laugh out loud at you for saying it worked. As I said, even if the air pressure could force the tumblers out, which it can't because lock cylinders are not airtight, it could never rotate the cylinder like a key which is what triggers the unlock pulse. You would have a better chance of receiving Directv on your radio by putting your underwear on the antenna.

  • @omcx1e Come to my place and I will show you. Either believe it, or don't. I don't really care. You can go ahead and call me a 'liar', but that won't really prove anything would it.

  • @Seguris It doesn't need to be proven to anyone who knows anything about locks.

  • @omcx1e I'm going to go with the other guy on this. The tennis ball trick CAN work but only on cars that use a pneumatic system for the central locking such as a Volkswagen Golf Mk3. There's not enough room to put the how's and why's but as for "anyone with even the slightest knowledge of locks will laugh at you for saying it will", I've been a locksmith for going on 17 years, so I would say my knowledge surpasses that of the average person, and probably even you

  • @bruce1chubb Apparently not. Explain how air pressure blown into the lock cylinder is going to get into the actual pneumatic system. The pneumatic system is a closed system. It is controlled by the lock cylinder but it is not open to it. You could pull one of the hoses and blow pressure into that with some success, but blowing air pressure into the lock cylinder has zero chance of working.

  • @bruce1chubb Think about it. The only way blowing air into the lock cylinder would work is if the pneumatic system was open into the cylinder. If that was the case, the system would be open to the atmosphere. That is called a leak, and it would prevent the system from ever working.

  • @bruce1chubb aww cut the bollocks! it doesn't work, your just hiding the magic of your professions work skills/knowledge mate. we know you guys really could go anywhere, anytime and NOT with a friggin tennis ball either, i bet ya.

  • @omcx1e Plus, they're not doing it properly. I don't even see how these guys have the right to call themselves 'scientists'.

  • Why bother? Just break the driver-side window.

  • They should have tested the exact same make and model, as the original video;

Otherwise, it does smack of gov't. / law enforcement propaganda...

Note, it's also a quick/brief burst of air pressure with the tennis ball,

not a steady (if sudden) stream, as with the airhose

  • You know, I have personally used this method to get into cars, it doesnt work on all cars but it does work on some, this is a classic example of myth busters being poor science. maybe you should try different cars?

  • @spexyguy No, it's an example of you making things up. This will never work and anyone with even slight knowledge of locks will laugh at you for saying it will.

  • OOOH what I would'nt do to Kari Byron and b-sides isnt that y they have bricks to get into cars?

  • Was this clip ripped by rt55? I couldn't tell =/

  • Carrey: Wanna try the smaller hole?

  • Lol @ 3:36 with using a PC fan to create wind effects

  • she said "wanna try the smaller hole" lol

  • 2:11 <<<< FREE TITS

  • The tennis ball trick was in the movie "The Next Three Days"

  • Pop locks like that van are easy to get into with an 'in door' tool, but it's still a rod that you need to hook onto with a special tool, or get underneath the pop lock and push it up with another sort of tool, or use a close hanger. Not air hahaha

  • A car door is based on a turning mechanism...people are so stupid

  • the girl is stronger than you LOL

  • Wanna try the 240p res? Apparently someone did

  • 'Mythbusters'? You mean there never was a Mt. Olympus and so forth?

  • This 'hole' idea has already been busted, by NutBusters everywhere

  • If opening doors were that easy, we would all be walking around with balls.

  • Captain Obvious was here and revealed it to me before I saw that video! Altough nice to see it again just to be sure it's a myth :)

  • Instead of busted, they should say bullshit.

  • so what if you loose your keys AND the tennis ball.

    well then your completely fucked.

  • @GuitarNewZealand nah... totally fcuk up is when you back in parking lot and see your car was stolen

  • i was just wondering, if it only works on certain cars... mmm

    different cars different locking mechanism...

    *shurgs*

  • Videos like the pick locking ones are the reason our cars are stolen, our houses are robbed, and etc.

  • @amtojtojboy Curious, I thought a conspicuous lack of moral or ethical standards was responsible for theft. Can you make a case for knowledge being immediately and unavoidably misused? If you know how to stab a cardboard box with a pencil, by your logic, you should be literally unable to resist shoving sharp objects into everything you see.

  • @amtojtojboy haha sounds like your talking from personal experience haha

  • @SEANSOS8606C1 I kinda am.

  • @SEANSOS8606C1 I kinda am.

  • 100 psi would dam near blow the windows out

  • anyone notice that the lock is an innie? the other ones are an outtie idk how to describe it better and it pulls the lock not pushs it they are to dumb

  • wanna try the smaller hole? "yea" haha

  • They actually had to show the viewers how they did it in the video, that's sad...

  • Vaseline

  • Dont think GTA iv is Now in real life boy. Its Just à game :p

  • 2:43 giggity.

  • FTF (For the Fail)

  • they used one van. Not all vehicles door handles and locks are made the same.

  • well wouldn't it make sense to use a car door that is not caved in? just sayin

  • I can't wait for their new show called Meth-Busters....where they stake out a meth lab....sieze the goods, and then prove to us all, that doing lots of meth is no problem

  • All you need to do is to push it as hard as you can . LOL

  • so its just BALLshit

  • 240p we meet again

  • uh, hello? its a mini van. of course it wont work! mini vans were meant to be family safe!

  • Maybe it's the lock that was the major variable.

  • she should not be allowed to put her hair in ponytails. blow that lock!

  • it does work on older cars....modern cars have electronic solinoids to operate central locking

  • The UK narrator has much more ... well ... his voice is much better than this US guy. Shame really. And I don't think the guy even has that much of an accent, just more flavour to his voice.

  • why don't you just put your mouth around my cock and.....blow? yea id bang her.

  • Works on older cars that don't need much pressure.

  • im starting to think this is a conspiracy, mythbusters being paid by the government to put all these 'myths' to rest when some of them may be true

  • @PhillHalloran illuminati man, trying to force us to believe things arent possible

  • why yes, kari, i WOULD like to try the smaller hole.

  • God damn it she's hot.

  • I've done it it works...

  • @artthugable I know right, mine works too... I guess every car is different... they need to check this method with other cars... not just one.

  • 240p, we meet again!!!

  • 22 works just fine also

  • Fuck!!!!!ya'll took an arrow to the too!!??fuken arrows these days....flying into our knees

  • i was that mad once, then i took an arrow to the knee @dash1996

  • Fuck all u fags & " took an arrow to the knee " shit. It's not funny already. U dumb fucking sheep are so desparate to fit in , look cool, & b funny. Fuck u all!

  • @dash1996 I used to be cool, just like you. Then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • @dash1996 i was an adventurer like you, then i tryed to play skyrim on 100x max settings, that worked great, added every mod and hd pack, though I still took an arrow to the knee.

  • @dash1996 The first step to getting over the arrow in your knee, is to admit you took an arrow to the knee.

  • and then i took a arrow to the knee.

  • The next three days movie should have considered this.. lol

  • 2:07 thats what she said!!!

  • O narrador da versão dublada brasileira tem uma voz muio melhor .-.

  • 2 guys and 1 girl...I HEAR A 3SOME.XD

  • @TTTfcl23

You fail at getting a top comment. Do you really think making a sexual joke and adding a XD to it will work? You suck at youtube.

  • Why would you watermark a video you have no rights on?

  • I used to bust her myth but then I took an arrow in the knee.

  • bull pucky they obviously got paid to say this doesnt work amongst other things this show is freakin stupid ive tried a couple out and yes in a pinch they DO work!

    Bunch of overpaid dorks!

  • @nametide it might just work on certain locks notice they only tried 1 type of car therefore it might not work on that car but it could work with a different car

  • so how would a bb gun work?

  • the cars needs to have a keyless door locker for this to work and drill the hole with a drill

  • Paus at 1:59 and look at his fingers on the tennisball

Theres your answer why its not working

  • @xXNoonebutyouXx looool he did`t put the hole on the lock

  • @crosbilius Yeah, he did. The black strip on the ball isn't the hole.

  • wana try the smaller hole? ahha

  • Gee I wonder if having a big wad of vaseline blocking the airflow might have affected the result? 2:50

  • 2:12 LOL CLICK IT.

  • i was watching the next 3 days movie. and i paused it to see if this was real or not.

  • HA! I knew it!

  • What works for me, all the time, every time, it not locking my keys in the car.

  • 2:06 - That's what she said :P

  • key in the ball.

  • ur car the lock not right

  • It didnt work because the surface of the door was not flat, and the hole in the ball MUST be burned in, NOT cut. I did it before, it DOES work.

  • @jhwil90 Why? That's stupid; how you make the hole shouldn't matter..

  • @WithoutMusicIDie if you cut it wont be a perfect circle and air escapes through the slits of the cut

  • 'want to try the smaller hole?'

If only women said that more often.

  • @TimEddyHughes haha great comment, and I havent even watched the video yet

  • We call that shifting into 'granny low' down in Louisiana !

  • @TimEddyHughes

if women have said that to you... how small are you?

  • now an older car may work??? not a new car,

    considering the locking mechanism

  • make yer own videos dammit.

  • I want to try the smaller hole

  • That babe needs a good myth-diving...or,

    maybe a good

    myth-stache ride

  • i'd like to bend her over and show her the 50 states

  • thanks for telling criminals how to open locked cars

  • doesnt work on an electronic locking system!!! try it on a non electronic locking car n heyy presto there you go tbf though y would you own or want to steal a shityy car that doesnt have electronic locking neway??

  • @510psycho

    Classic car?

  • @510psycho right, so this whole video makes no sense and they didn't bust the myth :)

  • @faads321 shut the fuck up

  • u tell em LMAO

  • I feel stupid now

  • wanna try the smaller hole... thats what she said:)

  • @TheBeastlyboy123 ha ha nice

  • ya but in another vid on youtube they pressed then turned so oh well

  • Why yes, yes I do want to try the smaller hole...

  • Overused comment, we meet again.

  • I'd like to bust her myth

  • @AJtheory hahahhaha lmao

  • the smaller hole didn't work because she was a girl

  • i sure as hell do wanna try the smaller hole

  • myth busters my ass------ all car locks are different and the one they used was recessed so to deep for ball to work--- the air pressure thru hose ,well okay ------- at least on that vehicle.. works on mine and my girlfriends car --- so try it everyone !!!!!!!!

  • wanna try the smaller hole??
