  • You wouldn't have to dig very deep in those "crates" to find this record in the UK - It was massively imported as a new release (c.March, 1972) - I bet every early Northern Soul fan owned a copy at some time... Holland & Dozier's label, now probably better known for Eloise Laws' "Love Factory", also released sides by the Jones Girls and Brenda Holloway among others.

    yes. Or power chords. I play in a band and we do a version of this in a bit of a punk style. I'll play full barre chords or power chords.
