This isn't a bash on Trent or the Nails but sometimes I really prefer the live shows or the studio/rehearsal takes to the studio tracks.

I realize Trent is am AMAZING producer as well as musician but I think some tracks can sound a little TOO synthesized sometimes and lose their edge...like Year Zero, though I did buy it and like it). Anyway, I hope he keeps making music forever! Cheers mate!

Well, personally I prefer the studio version of this song because I like the synthy, grungy sound of the guitar in it. Although, that's just the way I am with music, I'm more partial to electronic music, and that's probably why Year Zero was also one of my favorite NIN albums. Just a matter of opinion.

I agree this version is far far better than version on the album. I got to see them live this summer, and this song was sooooo good live! I've been to many many concerts, and this was by far the best! I hope they make a dvd of it, cause it was visually amazing!
