  • @mommyluvsherboyz Yes get some! It's very nice and leaves your hair and skin sooo soft. And thanks so much!!! xoxoxo

  • @mommyluvsherboyz okay dumb thing won't let me post the link but if you google it you can find pictures. i have the aztec one.

  • @mommyluvsherboyz Bentonite clay :) it's purifying, I'll find you a link...you use this in the place of shampoo, and you can use it on your body. The expensive salons use it in mud wraps and stuff but you can buy it at health food stores...see?

  • @mommyluvsherboyz Look at the title love ;)

  • i have that shirt! ˆ_ˆ! but bentonite, i learned is cat litter! save money! yay!

  • THE CORNROW SMACK!!!...i kno bout dat....lol...i love ur personality

  • Hahahahaha I just you couldnt help showing up!

  • damn can i get this in canada?

  • wow... how did I find you here on youtube! WIth Bentonite in your hair! LOL

  • lmao! i don't know..but you better not tell nobody but GOD!!!!!!!!!!

  • What does bentonite do to the hair ?

  • Nice vid< when i do the treatment i have my hair in about 8 twisted sections, pre poo with conditioner, rinse throungh the hair, shake off excess water and then apply to the sections starting from the back. I find it easier that way. give it a shot.

and then when i rinse in the shower i go section by section and detangle and retwist at the same time.

  • Hey, I spent 7 dollars on clay after finding out that I could get a ton of kitty litter for 3 dollars. But I have the clay on face and feet right now. Soon I will try on my hair. Thank you very much for your posts on LHCF and also on Youtube.

  • oh wow cool

    i should try it then

    i have some

  • Hi I'm not sure if you mentioned this but how many times a month do you do the bentonite deep treatment?

  • doesnt that dry out your hair ?

i would rather do the mayo hair treatment

  • heck no! euw now mayo dried out my hair, nevaaaaah again!!!

  • I tired this with hibiscus infused in the water added to the clay, marshmallow and slippery elm. My hair came out so soft and luscious that I didn't even need to use a conditioner in the shower afterwards. I never let my hair airdry without something on it b/c skrinkage tangles, but tempted, lol. I did use a leave-in and bit of avocado oil. I do the bentonite once a week instead of poo, except for the week that I do a simple low-poo so I can massage my scalp in the shower.

  • Rock out wit yo cock out!! WOW! I like that one.....LMAO

  • HEY what does bentonitedo for your hair?

  • How often do you do bentonite?

  • Smack it like it owes you money!

You are hilarious. Love the video. I'm coping this clay today and trying it with marshmallow root + slippery elm.

  • Ok, I stumbled on yuor channel and after watching a couple of vids I had to subscribe.

  • how long do you generally leave it in for??

  • i like your accent;

  • lol thanks

  • lol what accent?

  • you know the accent that new yorkers have. =\ yeah. df?

  • This is maybe the 2nd vid of hers I've watched. Since watching others she mentioned she was from nyc, otherwise I would've never known just from her speaking.

Lol, I guess being a fellow new yawker, I can't hear it. You know what they about accents. :p

  • Great video. Didn't know you were doing videos woman. Thanks for sharing. Now I have to subscribe of course.

  • hehe!!! you know this is my niche

  • dang, i miss a bunch. okay, you can make a paste out of amla powder to put on your hair, but it will NOT act like the bentonite clay. i've used it before and it's something totally different. i don't recommend mixing the amla with the bentonite though, seriously. i heard that mixing a little salt into the bentonite clay mix works wonders though, but save the amla for your rinses. and mix the amla with bhringeraj!!!!!

  • do you think its a good idea to mix bentonite clay with henna? I bought some, I want to get rid of it ASAP...it truly is messy!

  • NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hope you see this in time and DON'T do that!!!! you want to get rid of what, the henna or bentonite? use the bentonite on your face! your face, neck and throat. nice and detoxifying

  • Lol, your response. You made me laugh. :)

  • hehee!

  • Hey Ri, love this video!

What music were you listening too? Who is the artist?

  • LOL @ "Smack it like it owes you money".

I need to try this Bentonite clay shit.

  • Nice video. I might try this when I'm not feeling lazy. What music is playing in the background?

  • Smack it like it owes you money!!!

I'm going to have to try this clay...

I heard about it for facials but I'm late on the hair part.

  • hehe! im a fan of the blog too :)

  • How did your hair look after you rinse it out please?

  • same as it always does lol. look in at my conditioning video.

  • I mean to say if you had good curl definition after rinsing it out LOL.Amla powder dry out my hair so I hope this works=).

  • are you using the amla powder alone? if you are you shouldn't be, hit me up and ill help you with that :)

  • Thanks.I use it with oils but it still dryed my hair out and i also didn't have enough paste for my whole head, that could of caused my dryness to.Love advice for clay instead when i buy it=).

  • I was just about to ask if this could be done with Alma powder. You found it dried your hair? Hmm. I've used it once but it was with braids. My roots felt nice but my hair did feel a little dry. What's your advice richeau?

  • Yah=)alma dried my hair out.Blendedbeauty volcanic mask doesn't dry my hair out.

  • pt2It has her clay ing's mixed with volcano ash so I have hopes that my hair will turn out good with this clay.Alma is a fruit so I think it can combine with other natural powders.ple like to combine it with henna, eggs, and etc.The clay and alma should be tested on a strand on hair first. The powders textures are so diff I hope the combo will work.

  • But the amla trial didn't damage your hair though? Hmm. So is the blended beuaty mask used the same way as the amla powder as an after poo treatment? I presume you got good results?

  • It made it very frizzy, puffy and it shrunk alot due to the frizzness.I don't think the amla damage my hair though. The BB mask is suppose to be used like a shampoo and a conditioner is used after.I used it over a year ago.Sorry I can't rem exactly how my hair look but I wrote somewhere that it made my scalb feel clean and it left my hair more curly.I didn't have enough money to buy her products all the time.

  • I want to get these powders=).Is it hard to wash it out? because it is hard to wash out henna from the hair.

  • You always have the best music playing in the background...who's the artist in this vid?

  • it's the casamena podcast

  • where did you purchase the powders and about how much did they run for?

  • ooh my friend sent them to me awhile ago...you have to search online for them

  • I got my bentonite clay at whole foods. try asking around in whole foods or your local health/organic market

  • oh okay, thanks. :)

  • Thanks for posting the second video even though you didn't want to!!! This helps A LOT!! Cant wait to try this!!

  • so what is the purpose of this clay. Does it actually wash your hair? I've seen on some websites that some say you should use this instead of washing your hair, but I noticed in another video you used shampoo to wash your hair. I'm new to natural hair..so I need some guidance. Should I do this insead of washing with shampoo or in addition to? and how often? I couldn't really watch the whole video - my connection kept "timing" the video out.

  • Sorry about that, guess I did forget to mention that! Yes, this takes the place of shampoo. You can do it once a week at the most, or once a month! Whenever you feel like clarifying or when your hair feels weighed down from too many different things.

  • richeau, thanks for the info. your vid's are so helpful.

  • lol @ cornrow smack

  • Your videos are always a pleasure to watch. I am eager to see the honeychild, and hairveda reviews. I'm sure you have lots more to share so keep 'em comin pusha *lol*
