  • Why are people hating on this? These people talk very good english and probably speak more languages than a lot of people who are commenting on this video.

  • hot company, ugly women

  • @K3Ktraining, you're an asshole.

  • bad english, good programming skills

  • Different Nationalities?!...yeah right.Havent u noticed there are no "blacks" or africans at their zurich office. That goes for both google and microsoft, but their offices in africa is %50 white or european staff.

  • @damsel2 they said different nationalities, not races LOL

  • @damsel2

Being a programmer or engineer does requires a basic level of Intelligence, so you wont see them there at daytime, but...

I am sure there are black africans there too. Every office needs being cleaned and have its waste being picked up regulary

  • @GermanExceptionalism lol...says the in-breed Hunkey...loooool

  • @GermanExceptionalism You got a point.

  • how can i apply myself there??

  • @comptongameLA With all due respect, if you can't find the jobs-section on their website, you're probably not the sort of person Google is looking for.

  • @jusefina88 sure i found it dude. but there is no information about the zurich offices!

  • @comptongameLA Perhaps you don't know that Zurich is located in Switzerland........

  • @jimtzikis DUDE I LIVE HERE!

  • @comptongameLA xaxaxaxa......But in job section in Google's website, there are many information about Zurich's Office.....And the most logical explanation, was that you didn't know the location of Zurich.....But OK....:):):):):):)

  • I want to ask someone. i am half japanese half american born in tokyo, lived in japan for nearly 22years, a bilingual in both english and japanese. I am a 4th year student in a decent japanese university and wishing to work abroad from april 1st 2011. I am a dual citizen as well. Let me know if someone can give me an idea on working in Europe or in the States

  • Switzerland, probably the only direct democracy in the world?

  • No, California, Oregon and Germany (at least for a part) have direct democracy, too.

  • @cherylwens Very much so. Most other countries calling themselves democracies are republics. Like Germany, they have a so-called representative democracy. Only in Switzerland there are things like a national people's initiative, which enables anyone to make or change a new law, even if it's about the national constitution.

  • please dont feel yourself so comfortable at work, the world can not stand to another epic fail after google wave and google buzz :))

  • @mahmut123456 thats just only two products... you must be searching using google and watching videos using You Tube :-) BTW, you can be more series and still deliver defect product.. thats whats been happening for the past

  • Right-extremist as in making propaganda posters of black/brown hands grabbing swiss passports, black sheep getting kicked off a swiss flag, banning religious architecture like no other western country has done..... yep, doesn't sound racist to me! You dumb schweizer schwein!

  • That propaganda stuff was a damn bad idea. Lots of Swiss are ashamed because of it, and so am I.

Sorry, but you don't seem to make a better approach: Judging people you don't know personally, calling them dumb racist pigs ...?

  • "Lots of Swiss are ashamed of it", yet the SVP got MORE votes in the last election even after all those racist posters, which would have been banned in just about any other Western country? The SVP IS a right-wing-extremist organisation, everybody says so, the UN has condemned the party a million times for their tactics, and yet they are still the largest party in Switzerland! Something is seriously fucked up with your country of fondue and dumb alphorns.

  • Left-wing-parties in Switzerland didn't do a good job during the past decade, they were inconsequent and aimless. People lost their trust in them; that's why they dramatically lost votes to the right wing.

In the past ten years, the world faced a whole new level of terror and financial instability. Uncertainness began to spread among the population, and the SVP used it for their tactics.

What people wanted was only to get rid of their fears - instead, they damaged the image of Switzerland.

  • @usaiscollapsing Dude, seriously. Switzerland is probably the only real democracy in the world. Inform yourself before you make such statements. Also, you are welcome to visit us; you'll find no right-extremists here.

  • @usaiscollapsing I saw the posters, and I absolutely agree that they should've been banned. On the other hand, France banned headscarfes for muslimic women. Open your eyes.

Also, do you really judge a whole country based on some posters you saw somewhere?

  • Oh yeah? How come the right-extremist group SVP represents 35% of the Swiss parliament??? Dumbass!

  • I'm from Switzerland, and don't like SVP at all.

And to make things a bit clearer: SVP is conservative, but this doesn't necessarily mean they're right-extremists. If you're looking for a Swiss right-extremist-group, there's the PNOS which actually represents 0% of our parliament!

  • @Regedi7 I'm EU citizen and Canadian, but have lived all my life in North America.. is it hard or what kind of permissions do you I'm european (I know Switzerland is not in the EU)... thanks!!

  • @usaiscollapsing Check the position papers of the SVP. They have about the same opinions on matters like the american democrats. If you are looking for a right-extremist party, that would be the PNOS. By the way, they don't have a single seat in the national council, nor in the council of states, nor in the federal council.

Please inform yourself before you judge.

  • I am soooooo gonna work there ... Only a few months and I'm gonna apply for the job ... I'm gonna like it even more if I'm gonna be in a team with Stephanie .... she rules ... she owned at google wave demo presentation .... Zurich here I come

  • Its seems as if your paradise office and the location of a beautiful bliss has caught my eye . (Manager) You have an outstanding crew that would do anything for the company and that excels alone.

  • What is a Master Food or Nestlé. No fear!

And we eat all from them...

  • Google is good and most of the things they do makes sense. But people are getting afraid of its unstoppable growth -- and are right for that. So, the question is: what's Google supposed to do in order not to become the new IBM or Microsoft? Stop buying other entreprise's projects? Stop growing? Or something else?

  • Why do people always have to be so negative?

  • hmmm, people on this video seems quite not too happy? more like brainwashed in the cult.....

Please, no harm, just my opinion .....

  • Humm.. sorry about that.. got it wrong.. upon closer inspection it looks more like 25-35.

  • Diverse projects, diverse cultures, diverse this, diverse that.. how comes there is obviously very little age diversity? Typical IT company. (20-40 does not equal diversity)

  • Do they have a Luxembourgish and Monaco Citizen there????

  • Ui nei isch das en dumme kommentar...

  • What's wrong with Zurich? I'm planning on visiting there this summer with my kids, and perhaps moving there. Please inform me. I need to know. If my kids and I move there, I would like to know what to expect.

  • robertalva1: why? what? nothing is wrong with Zurich... i live near Zurich and i thik it's beautiful. there is the lake and the mountains are near there.. and your kids can do party very well (if they are not too young) but i think for people who don't live in Switzerland, it's very very expensive.. but the food is good too.. (well, better than american food i think ;-) )

    tscho

  • hey

uhmm Zurich has been voted the "City of highest living standart in the world" so nothing is wrong with it ^^

In and around there are over 10'000 people who are native English speakers or who are bilingual (like me)

Zurich is the best place in the world to live!

  • dort wollte ich mal anrufen.

    ein ding der unmöglichkeit!

die haben keine menschen am telefon nur anrufbeantworter!

    by

  • What's wrong with Zurich?

  • just because zurich ownes

  • du hueresohnnnnnnnn heb dini frässi

  • cool, i will try to go there!

  • I work here. It is nice but the buildig is the smallest part of it; the culture that allows it to be is the key.

  • ZURICH > ALL

  • i love zurich <3 great city;)

  • CORRECT! You americans think America is shit? Try Europe! After 2 Years, you will be so pissed.

  • Then why not just leave?

  • My brother's wife works there

  • I wonder which one of these smart guys had the idea to have all messages you receive in Gmail searched for keywords and then bring up corresponding ads. That is completely unacceptable and I lost a lot of respect for Google when they introduced that cynical "feature".

  • this is the place of my dreams!

    :)

  • I fucking live there! & I go past google it everyday

  • zurich el paiz de las maravillas el paiz de mis sueños

  • Zurich no es un pais no mames, es una ciudad.

    Translation.

gecareth-" Zurich es the wonder country, the country of my dreams"

Molcas2- "zurich is not a country , its a city"

  • welcome to richtown ;-)

  • Zurich is a great town!

  • google is google... just empire

  • Google...Zurich...is...a....

  • fuck

  • zürich

  • too many rictus grins....

  • If I were not to lazy to write a job application, I might would work there. :)

  • ... provided you were accepted :-)

  • any way.. it looks american and there way of work is american. I never would work there..

  • Another thing that I specially liked was when the "core infrastructure initiatives" came up. I mean the guy in the grey-yellow T-shirt should be proud to participate in there but instead he seems to be somehow desperate like a pupil who is trying to explain why he arrived late at school. I am looking forward to seeing the next episode of "Working at Giggle Zurich".

  • Wow, I am amazed. It is all so Zen-like. Is it really just a company that wants to make money? I mean, when you consider all the social acitivities and that "everybody is smarter than you" (you sense the logical contradiction?) and that "the company really cares for you" then I guess I would be glad to work for free with Giggle. But wait, one guy spoke about diversity. However where is it? Everbody seems to be sort of streamlined, googlized you may say.

  • Exactly what I thought !

Too cool, too social, too nice, too beautiful, what the hell ?

Some sort of a cult ?

    It's just business, nothing else.

  • This is google man!

  • Yes, it's google...so what.

    Seems like paradise, eh

  • I understand what you are saying but you come across too bitter. Google is set up by people that actually in the business of what they have learned as a profession: software. They didn't go to a school to learn to be greedy bastard managers. So I do believe that people in the company do notice that.

  • wow, that was one of the coolest spots i have ever seen :-). very motivating, i think i want to know more about google zürich :-)

  • "all nationalities work here", eh? Then how come I didn't see any black people, or Indian people, or any other alien race but Wookies working there, huh? HUH?

  • they are swiss in charge remember...!!

  • Ah, yes, Swiss neutrality at its best :)

  • I want to work at GOOGLE!

  • Brilliant. As great as I hear the Mountain View Googleplex is, I think I would absolutely fall head over heels with a European office.

  • google you need my , contact me and i will till why need me

    +.1

  • You should see what life in the Moutian View Googleplex is like. Then you'll really want to work for Google.

  • i want to work at google.

  • cool
