  • Good video! btw my uncle followed this very popular weight loss program called: Impact 790 Diet and got rid of 7 kgs within just a month. I can not remember the site just Google it.

  • yes lets look at the differencwizz

  • I have found that doing inductio thru the day and then eat some carbs late in the day is best

  • it's amazing how once your body switches over to burning fat there is zero hunger!!!

  • damn why is the volume so low @_@

  • I've been doing high fat, low carb diet for years. I am extremely healthy. My bp is 90/60, my hdl and ldl and total cholesterol are excellent , always. Not sure when this low carb diet is gonna kill me but I'm sure it will happen eventually. Why? Because the liberal media says so, so it has to be right bwahahahahaha.

  • @Splendapuff Yeah it'll just hit you one day, then you'll be dead ;)

  • i LOVE the way she speaks!

  • @operacat21 I agree. I would totally DO her.

  • The atkins diet is neither healthy or special. It still all comes down to calories in vs,, calories out LOL... It doesn't matter how you do it,, low carb, low calorie, low whatever,, intermittent fasting,, it's all the same! The atkins diet is a low calorie diet in a nut shell. nothing more. Your body doesn't burn fat any faster on this diet than any other. Your body doesn't just get its glucose needs from carbs! but also from converting fat or protein which is abundant in this diet.

Disagree completely! I've been on every diet and Atkins shrinks your body so quickly and you are wrong to suggest it is low calorie - I'm on 1800 calories a day!

Have you ever had a wood stove? I heat with one all the time. Calories in=calories out sounds very basic, but it just doesnt work that way. Some wood stoves send a lot of wood calories up the chimney as heat, or as soot. Other stoves are designed to be more efficient.

Same with our bodies, only we are far more complex. My college biochemistry book tells me you are wrong. It's time the docs came up to speed with modern research.

  • @tecnolover2642 My personal experience - it does matter, not the calories in/calories out theory. Diets with higher carbs didn't work for me even with daily cardio/weight exercise. Higher carb intake makes it difficult to reduce my body fat + I feel sluggish. When I eat a diet of low carbs & high protein (no baked goods & no processed foods) my body comes alive. The excess weight comes off/stays off more easily + I feel much more energetic. It's finding what works for the individual.

  • Corn and Potatoes are not veggies... OK, when you go to the supermarket aisle, where do you find those? Oooooow....

Look, let's not get technical here. If it makes you happy, let's say they are, I don't know, candy. Bottom line is: Can't have them.

  • HELL YESSS, I love cucumber, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, and spinach xDD

  • I was just eating a Big Mac meal just now and thinking that I should probably drink 3/4 of the shake and fling two french fries away.

  • is the person in this video dr atkins?

  • @airindia16 no dr atkins was a man...but the message is the same...if your interested in the diet do yourself a favor and read the book. it really has a lot of info that you will need to know.

  • @airindia16 No she is his sister.

  • @codownni: You CAN eat ketchup and garlic, as long as you use no sugar added ketchup and the garlic is fresh, not canned or processed. Both have carbs, and you have to count them on your 20g of NET carbs for the day, so use them sparingly. As for corn, you go better of without. You can eat anything as long as you mind the carbs, but starchy vegetables like corn, potatoes, ect. raise your blood sugar levels too much for our purpose here. Use soy or canola oil instead of corn oil. read the book.

  • @sacatetuco Corn and potatoes aren't veggies :P

  • TICKYUL, shoot for 15g of Carbs a day instead of 20. I bet that you are not taking into consideration the hidden Carbs, which are the ones in salad, eggs (.6) and some diet drinks. Are you drinking enough water? Are you completely off rice, bread and other wheat and starches, like potatoes? Are you eating corn? Are you using spread instead of butter? How about ketchup, garlic, spaghetti sauce, pasta...? Be sincere with yourself and you will see where is the fault and will be able to correct it.

  • @sacatetuco

Wait, i cant eat sweet corn, ketchup or garlic?

  • Atkins diet ROCKS

  • Atkins has always worked for me. Low fat NEVER gives me enough to eat. I hate weighing food, and counting points or calories. With Atkins I don't have to think I can just eat and enjoy. If you REALLY want to loose weight, even if you mess up on Atkins keep doing it, don't give up and you WILL loose weight!!
