this was during gulf war 1991 by the looks of it so there was a significant threat that saddam might act as the loser he was and gas kuwait in revenge for getitng his ass whooped from the Americans and British. but unfortunately, kuwaitis didnt have gas masks at that time and luckily saddam wasnt that nasty. on the flip side, he pretty much burnt every oil field, causing asthma problems for children and respiratory problems that goes on until this date. i hope the fucker burns in hell.

Those are Thunderbolts. They were exported to Kuwait and they showed one in operation of CNN during the war. Also I deployed there with the Air Force and they had a couple at the base I was at.

wait a minute ... i think it's true that it was gas missiles because i saw one of the 2nd gulf war videos for shooting down one of the scud missiles and the soldiers were wearing gas masks , and that was in 2003 ... but never heard of gas missiles in 1991 O_o

by the way if this video was in 1991 why the video named 2nd gulf war ? ... the first gulf war was actually in 1991. .. and why do i see some new cars like that nissan maxima in the left of the camera ? XD !!!

plus one thing left ... sadly by bad jobs doing from some workers ( don't know the workers countries ) in my country in 1991 they didn't sounded the thunderbolts when our country was invaded ( got that info from some picked old news by an arabian newspapers site ) and they were scolded by higher positioned headmasters after the first gulf war .

so the info about that the thunderbolts were used in 1991 in the first gulf war is wrong from what i've discovered from that arabian newspapers site ._.

@ZFMN 1991? BS, the Iraqi military in 1991 was occupying Kuwait - torturing and killing all the Kuwaiti civilians at that time. Saddam didn't allow the TV crews to go out and film what the Iraqi military did to the people in Kuwait.

The only time i saw on TV that someone had to put on gas masks was Israeli citizens. They were given by the Israeli government in fear of Saddam allegedly putting poison gas in SCUD missiles and launched it into Israel.

It is a System 7000, which composes of a modified ThunderBolt 1003 inside a giant shed, to make it more easily portable. Contact me for a photo of it.

Not really portable. It's pretty darn heavy. The intent with designing the System 7000 series was to have a Thunderbolt with a backup generator. Everything was housed in a small shed-like structure including the blower, generator, and controls as well as ventilation equipment.
