@makeralaker78 this was released as a single itself in 1994 as the first track from their second album 'Black Bastards' before it got pulled by elektra records due to a dispute over the album artwork. elektra wanted to change it but KMD never compromised despite how anticipated the album was at the time, especially after this dropped, and we had to wait til 2001 to hear the rest of the masterpiece...
@tmullahy The bootleg wax came out in about 95, then again in 2001 with a picture cover. HI ROTATION for years and still sounds fresh today. Fckin timeless shit.
liked Mr Hood, the skits and whatever reocrd they sampled that shit from was . oh man, anyone know by chance where they got that shit from?????then this album dropped anad got pulled i remember anyone know why? i remember some beef with the cover...
@msnikish The record company dropped them because they didnt change there album. it didnt get published until 2001! Also subrock died that week beforehand. i doubt that had anything to do with it but who knows

How come when people talk about the hip hop greats, they never mention KMD? I'd pick this every time over Tupac and Biggie.
