  • You have my permission to send the snow here... Cute little family :)

  • @phekwig Snow is running away as we speak - but I think it's going down the drain rather than over to your house. Glad you like the little family! Cheers, Lesley

  • What a fantastic gift! Im 15 and i'd love something like this, its a shame my old doll house seems to have dissapeared lol.

    God bless!x

  • @sugarmagfanatic Thank you, comments like yours are the reason I share things on YouTube.

My parents made the house for me as a little girl and I loved it so much they stored it in their loft/attice till I met my husband. It was one of the subtle ways they showed they knew he was 'the one' - they said it was time to store it at our house when we moved in together.

Now we're married with a family of our own and my 7 year old has a renovated version - life comes full circle. Cheers, Lesley

  • @flydarling Wow, thats a really great story :)

I hope your daughter has or did have a lovely birthday :)

  • Those are wonderful creations. I bet grandma is glad you aren't a family of twelve. ;)

  • @NaturalTwentyFilms I had to share them I'm so thrilled there's a new generation in my old doll's house. Ah GaGa is fortunate that we're restricted to four but does she know that in her heart? Cheers, Lesley

  • How sweet!!!

  • @PaintedRavensong We're a lucky family what can I say? Cheers, Lesley

  • Awe so cute! My grandparents used to write us with those kind of stories as well. I think it's an english thing? We moved to Canada and my Grandpa would always write that he couldn't sleep because an apple had fallen on his head and dropped pips all over the place which meant he had to write to me. So he'd write and put the pips in the envelope! hahahhaha So cute. That's how I got my nick name ; ) ~ PiP

  • @Pippilly How wonderful to get your nickname that way, thanks for sharing that I'm always curious about these things. My grandad was the story teller, he'd just make one up on the spot sometimes and have me and my brother in stitches or enthralled. Joe is good at that sort of thing I'm better at reading a book and doing the silly voices. Cheers, Lesley

  • what a very special gift. has no one told grandma about her son's procedure? that might account for the forlorn hope.

  • @bohogirl1 Grandma knows there's no hope in reality it's just in her heart I think. I was very poorly with both Max and Hannnah (pre-eclampsia, c-sections and complications) so the drs said absolutely no more babies.

My family is my gift and the little people have their own magic for Hannah. Cheers, Lesley

  • You better be finding a baby grandma has spoken.

  • @oneiblind30 Well grandma is going to have to wave a magic wand over her son 'cos we will need some help undoing what has been done! There will NOT be a wild blonde haired baby in this house any larger than 1/24th size and that's final. Cheers, Lesley

  • You do realise you now have to give birth to a stripey baby, never mind there never will be!

Those dolls are precious and i bet they will be played with for years

    :-)

  • @twish1999 Joe said the same thing 'wishful thinking' on grandma's part. It is not possible for there to be a stripey baby not unless you see a bright star and lets face it 3 wise men?

Yeah I loved that doll's house and now it truly has a new lease of life. It's right that a new family should be moving in and making the place their home, with Hannah's help. Cheers, Lesley

  • That was so sweet of Gran!

  • @Zipster08 Yeah GaGa is a great gal, we're all lucky to have her in our lives. Cheers, Lesley

  • those dolls are so special and the letter was as sweet as can be! What a treasure. I see where you get part of your lovely inventive nature from.

  • @LeSaMilano Thanks Lesley, but it's where Joe's creativity and gentle spirit comes from! She is a very special lady and shares a bit of magic with the kids which is invaluable in this commercial time. Cheers, Lesley

  • @flydarling LOL - well then it's rubbed off on you heehehe !!

  • @LeSaMilano I love making things (especially in miniature) out of nothing much and weaving a bit of magic too indeed - but it comes from my mum! Where does your creativity come from mum or dad or is it yours? L x

  • How very adorable - Really really sweet, thanks for sharing!

  • @numberonefilmfan There are good things in life and YouTube means we don't just keep them to ourselves. I'm glad you liked seeing a bit of our family life, thanks for the comment. Cheers, Lesley

  • What a lovely family and the dolls too. I'm sure they are something Hannah will always treasure. We might get snow here next week, but I doubt it. It does snow in Texas every now and again.

  • @timido66 She's getting a lot of enjoyment out of that old house and that gives me, Joe and my parents a lot of pleasure. Now Joe's mum is involved in the smiles and strange storylines!

There do seem to be unexpected places getting more than their fair share of snow this year so fingers crossed. Cheers, Lesley

  • Oh, how sweet !! What a lovely gift for Hannah's doll house! So wonderful to see that some children still use their imagination during playtime & that much loved toys are still handed down. Would really enjoy seeing Hannah at play with her house & it's occupants! hugs, Chris

  • @bugsinrug I will have to capture her in the act - she left the lights on in her house so the batteries need changing! When I peep in there I can only wonder what the story is - today the chairs are stacked on top of the kitchen table and the family are in a heap on the floor - perhaps they're playing twister? Cheers, Lesley

  • Adorable!! Grandma is good at "finding" new tenents! :-)

No snow here yet...sunshining still. It did get cold, so I'm thinking the next storm we get, it should contain a bit of snow. xoxoxo

  • @GreatGig1 Yes the grandmas in the family have set the bar high for the next generation. But I love that my kids are growing up in a home where things are homemade rather than just bought.

Enjoy the sunshine while you can, do hope the storms pass you by without damage. Cheers, Lesley
