You know what I read? Dwarf Bulborbs and Dwarf Bulbears aren't actually Grub-Dogs (the family that Bulborbs belong to)! They are actually Breadbugs that evolved to imitate juvenile Bulborbs to avoid preditors.

Actually, only Dwarf Bulborbs are in the Breadbug family. Pretty much all of the Dwarf Grub-Dogs are Breadbugs except for Dwarf Bulbears.

I think that you might have lost one pikmin to a glitch when fighting the Dwarf Bulbears at the beginning, as I couldn't see any pikmin ghost... Sometimes when swarming smaller enemies with lots of pikmin in the first game, some of them disappear when the enemy is dead, as there isn't enough space around the dead enemy to put all of the attacking pikmin.

to make the beatle a somewhat tough battle they should have made it where if your pikmin were still on its back when the wings come back down they died

nintentos famous for doing that though, they can make a tough ass boss in any game, i mean bowser in super mario galaxy but pikmin they slam you with tough bosses, sry for commenting.. 1 year later... lol just need to point it out
