  • Go ahead and kill subtlety, really, I will just stand in that dark and wet corner with Travis Bickle, and watch you kill subtlety.

  • nice work

  • Bad acting

  • It was very different, and I'm a bit disappointed with the ending.

  • Interesting concept but think he should have actually found the story at the end. I was waiting for that but it never came. Also thought he could have become attracted to the girl to complicate things more rather than a weasely geekboy who wants out of the film world. Part of the obsessiveness you talk of is a pure pleasure in being immersed in the puzzle of a film's world, a willing surrender and even on a bad film things like a pretty actress keep an editor going.

  • As an editor myself I didn't buy the character as an editor. The film he was supposed to be cutting wouldn't make or break anyones career - even if I was suspending reality it was just the kind of film an editor cuts in his bedroom to get experience. Would have been good to see the director as a character at the start - leaving the editor to it. This might have helped the credibility of the scenario.

  • WOW!!! Great job! I'm impressed. I really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. Great editing skills.

  • psychedelic

  • This was really well done : )

    I enjoyed it a lot !

btw how did you convince the girl to kiss both of you xD ? .. LOL

The story and the editing is really good : ) keep doing stuff like this :D

  • im sorry but its crap

  • weird but it's kinda cute... kinda creative element there... =)

  • Casablanca and Citizen Kane

with those movies kid there is everything to know, especially for adequate screenwriting

  • On the other hand, the editor doesnt find the story himself, he has the DIRECTOR by his side, or he uses a SCREENPLAY.

  • lol im a filmmaker too and editing sure is a bitch but can be helpful if you have one of your actors in the film you're editing helping you out...

  • The line, 'I'm not supposed to be here' reminds me of Kevin Smith's Clerks (''I'm not even supposed to be here TODAY!'') I preferred the shorter version but the transition from the editing room into the film-world was better here. But, I liked the shorter ending in the first version over the more pronounced and exaggerated ending here. Still, a really good video - has this been entered into any film festivals/competitions?

  • I just entered the longer version into a really small film fetsival yesterday. It's contains original music is tighter than this version. The ending here was definitely more of a risk and I'm going to see how it play. But I appreciate all yoru comments and taking the time out to look at the work

  • Cool...I expect it will do well!

  • Wow? I would think there'd be more views on this video!!! It's soooo good!!!

  • So true, that was me editing a while ago....

  • i like this video too!!!

    you make amazin vids

  • Wow, he sure was a baby about a slap from a woman lol. It's come a long way from how it was. Nicely done!
