You know, I'm begining to realize why this show didn't last long. As much as people will deny it, the Silver Surfer needs Galactus. Actually, I'm pretty sure the Fantastic Four were the ones to stop Galactus, by bluffing they had a machine that could kill him if he ate their planet, and so Galactus sent the Silver Surfer to check it out, however, the surfer didn't get back in time and Galactus died of starvation.

Really a insult? Marvel comics a company that many of Jack Kirby's plots, imagery and hard worked helped create should not get his fair share of credit. Also Marvel comics treated this creator who helped make them what they are with not much respect in the end. Let's learn some comicbook history here.;)

if you check marvel rankings, on a scale of 1 to 7 surfer's intelligence is only ranked 3 or 4. he is extremely powerful and his board does not have to recharge, however the green lanterns power is lmited by their imagination, anything they can the of the ring will commit to projecting. only thing is surfer sint shit w/o the board. lantern isnt shit w/o the ring

In the comics the surfers power isn't entirely dependent on the board. And his powers are continuously reinforce by cosmic energy (solar radiation), with or without his board.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the Fantastic Four were the ones to stop Galactus, by bluffing they had a machine that could kill him if he ate their planet, and so Galactus sent the Silver Surfer to check it out, however, the surfer didn't get back in time and Galactus died of starvation.

Frankie Raye as a smart-aleck teenager, no FF when Surfer hits Earth? They really did change the story. Frankie was Human Torch's girlfriend before she became Nova, this is interesting.
