Private health care is not a guaranteed failure because there is no example of it failing. There IS however proof that government provided health care is a failure. The UK has starting making moves to privatize portions of the system because the government cannot keep running deficits to care for everyone. You can only borrow money for so long. Private insurers are not able to run in the negative the way governments do.

actually...the healthcare bill is not unconstitutional. it doesn't require you to have healthcare, it just says congress will tax you if you don't. And last time i checked the commerce clause IN THE CONSTITUTION gives congress the right to tax citizens as long as the tax is voted into law by the legislature...which it was.

If you don't have healthcare, you get penalized by the IRS, even if you already paid your Federal taxes. actually...the healthcare bill is not unconstitutional. it doesn't require you to have healthcare, it just says congress will tax you if you don't. And last time i checked the commerce clause IN THE CONSTITUTION gives congress the right to tax citizens as long as the tax is voted into law by the legislature...which it was.

If you don't have healthcare, you get penalized by the IRS, even if you already paid your Federal taxes. The commerce clause gives Congress authority to REGULATE trade BETWEEN states, NOT within them. Listen to Congressman Ron Paul, he explains it much better.

There was no mobbing by the Tea Party protestors. The Congressmen walked right into the middle of it. They felt very safe. This is what is wrong with America. Those with a legitimate gripe can be expected to do nothing. But someday, after they have committed enough crimes against the people, it will become impossible for them to walk freely in this manner.
