Fist i would like to say, you can thank Mr. oizo for inventing the wobble bass (soul power of dubstep) in 1999 when he realeased flatbeat. From there dubstep was creeated based on the combination of drum and bass and breakbeat. Secondly, i would like to say that anyone with a good perseption of music can see the artistic side of any and all music (including dubstep) I agree that mr. oizo's style is complex, however, you would have to be a fool to like mr. oizo and dislike dubstep.

I know im gonna cop a lot of shit for this, but In my opinion, alot of people who actually like this music only do it to appear 'different', quirky, or cool because it makes it seem like they have an eclectic music taste. Oizo pumps out a track a second and this is likely because much his music is not at all musical... im not going to say it has no thought behind it, and some of his tracks are very funky, but it is a REAL strain to try to make some of his tracks sound good, at least to my ears.

I love Analog worms attack. I love that oizo creates film. I love the french electro scene. But, i agree that Lambs Anger is hard work to listen to. I dont think people just listen to it because they want to be different, as oizo is pretty common place these days. Theres nuthin individual about listening to him. But, i agree that there doesn't seem to be a lot of thought behind this album and i also find is a strain to listen to. There ar far better french electro producers out there.

Soulwax is two guys, two brothers actually. Before they got famous as DJs they had a band and brought out a couple of albums in the late 90's, it was sort of electro tinged indy rock.
