@blondefyi yes you can, i suggest putting your intentions into the wand to program it. i would suggest separate wands for the different uses. I say this just because you may want a healing one and healing ones work best if that is only what you use it for.

Oh my gosh, I just spoke to a tree. My young sapling in the backyard is the one I asked, and yet the hundred year old tree next to it dropped a branch in the pile of leaves next to my foot, then my cherry tree dropped 3 blossoms. I was wacked, pissed on a bush, then snapped off a twig to wipe myself. When I woke up in a tree the next day, I wanted to apologize to said bush, but didn't know where it's ear was, so didn't know if it was listening. So I crammed the twig down the middle and ran away. Ok, so, how do I apologize to my magic pee-tree and bless my piss-wand, should i dare to retrieve it? I did break it off at the living root, after all. And it is/was a ornamental bonsai tree my neighbor had. Suggestions?

Hi Helen. I have a question. I cut my branch from my mimosa tree. She dropped a blossom at my feet when i asked her! The branch is very green. Should i oil it while it is drying out over a period of time or just let it dry naturally?
@jilldbloomer i would strip the bark and then let it dry a little and then start rubbing the oil onto it. mine was very green too. I think that is beautiful how your tree spoke to you!!! blessings and love xx
My wand came to me literally through my black labrador companion. We were out for a walk in the woods behind my home, like we often do, and she likes to wander. She once brought me a stick that she wouldn't fetch when I threw it, which she loves to do, she just sort of gave it to me. She just kept shoving it at me with her nose. I understood then I was supposed to keep it. Don't know what kind of wood it is, but it is naturally elbow to finger length and I just love it.

You described this info just the way I know it, and I also did the same thing, I made a wand from the tree in my front yard, I also left the tree an offering of cornmeal, and tied a white ribbon around the tree in thanks. @Kendra2586 awww how lovely you took from a tree in your front yard!!! this is the most powerful tool!! :) I leave food :) such as vegetables because they act as a natural fertilizer and also feed the birds :) i like to give back to the earth things that help and are useful so i usually leave vegetables and fruit that i have chopped in a food processor to be used for an offering and food for the little animals. i also have a vid on it :) Blessings and love gorgeous! xxxx
@Helenhealer yes I have done that too, I love animals so much I also give nuts or seed (I forgot to mention that) As far as my backyard and herb garden I usually have to leave cornmeal because I have a very curious jack russel terrier that will take and eat any food items LOL! I dont want him getting sick thats why I usually dont do veggies in the backyard where he can get to them. If cant throw bread or nuts out back he will try to eat it lol! I will put them in the front or somewhere else :)

Lovely wands, Love the green one as I am a Taurus.lol.I have a wand made by a Feri witch, its very thin,made of willow. It has a red star on the end, like plastic or glass. I have I think am affinity with Willow trees because since I was a child I would look at them and feel immense sadness, but be awed by their beauty at the same time. I have no idea why they make me feel this way. But their very special trees for me.

I love wands!!! I have collected a few fallen branches from Redwoods and Willow trees. but I haven't yet decorated or used them (but I am inspired to do so now). Great idea about using essential oils with olive oil for the branch wands! I use a store bought copper wand for casting circles during spells, but I have always wanted to make my own. I love your wand helen! I think I might try to make a staff. I have allways had a close connection to the staff as a magickal tool. I had a dream about a walking stick that I found some time later. In my dream I used it to pull water out of a lake and create rain. It was an amazing dream! Not sure what I will do with my walking stick yet, but I plan to leave the bark on. I think you could also split it at the top and put the crystal between the split and glue that way. Whatever would be most secure would be the way to go xxxxx
