I believe their "I'm bad!" quote is a reference to Michael Jackson's 1987 song, "Bad", which was popular during the arcade game's release. The burger seen in the ending must be a reference to Data East's successful arcade game, BurgerTime. In the Japanese version of the arcade, the ending is different.

Reminds me of my childhood. I would help old ladies cross the street and upon success I would exclaim I'M BAD!! Actually I stil do it and I have perfected the dragon punch, in my mind. I was in the Giant Eagle the other day and after I exchanged my currency with the cashier I said thank you, I'M BAD! I tried to explain to security that I was simply cheering because I am proud of the fact that I am such bad dude, but that lead to me kicking his pills and yet agian exclaiming my badness.

Since this seems to be based off the NES version, should the president sound like George HW Bush?? Or are you gonna use President Ronnie from the Arcade version?
