he aint sad at all...hes standing upright...thats a happy intelligent bird...cut ellenhart some slack...he plucks feathers cuz he plucks feathers, thats it......what u on about talk to him more..?....the vid aint called "ellanhart talks to a parrot"......
He is just old, Its the ring around his neck that looks thinner than the rest. If he was unhappy he would mutilate himself and pluck his feathers. Its at too an awkward angle for him to do that. Its just his ages guys!
It's cute but he's in poor health you should take better care of him before presenting a video on here trying to make him do tricks for people it's ridiculous.
This song is confusing and would not motivate a bird to dance salsa well. It has no good salsa rhythm. Please find a better music. A good song from Joe Arroyo (el preso), La Sonora Carruseles, Fruko y sus Tesos, or even Latin Brothers will be better. Try to see them in youtube. This is good salsa that the owner needs to hear first. Poor bird, he can not do anything here. Good luck.
You need to buy this parrot more toys and take him out more often. It's not whether he has a partner or not, it's that he doesn't get enough attention. If you're going to have a bird with the mentality of a 5-year old child, you need to take better care of him, poor thing.
He looks so confused because the person clapping so LOUD is throwing off his rythym!!!!! It's totally NOT in time with the music! Stop clapping and I bet he dances more!
@BlastBeatDolly I agree, he looks quite unhappy, being made to do this. I hope he doesn't have to "sing for his supper". And it looks like he might need a vet. Or a more sympathetic owner.
@BlastBeatDolly dont worry he is happy other wise he wouldnt be dancing and wouldnt be sitting on a stick without flying away, also thats how those birds look
He just looks like a small boned Grey to me.Mine is tiny hes only 380 grams and 2 years old. To me hes plucking.I agree greys do the plucking for just reasons, so far I havent had that problem YET.
lots of birds have problems of any sort, usually abuse. when birds are abbused they 'pick' at themselves, and the skinny areas you see are just places that he has picked at, this bird (and saddly unlike many others) looks pretty healthy. look up 'beaks and wings', you will see some of the sad cases that im talking about
Your parrot is very intelligent and charming, but really looks sick and slim. Does he get enough food: nuts, eggs, seeds, fruits, vegetables and so on?
Your african grey could develop this habit of plucking his feathers, because 1) he does not get enough attention 2) he is not busy with toys and learning all the day long (african grey must be exposed to something new every day, for example, new toys, new words, new people, new games and so on) 3) he has become a neurotic and feather plucker because of loud noises, voices, music. Your voice must be calm, music quit. I have got a headache at the end of your clip because of loud music and voice.
why do people talk so much sh*t when they have no idea about birds okay 1 birds do lose old feathers so that new ones can come in! 2 feather plucking is not always a sign of not getting enough attention there are alot of reasons a bird will pluck diet, being bored, habit(like humans biting their nails) medical, they were taken from the mother and father to soon and were never taught how to preen properly! try rap my birds love rap!!!! lol
Baila Ozzie, baila!!! THat was a good song. Gotta like the fact that only parrots can keep a beat, whether it's singing, beatboxing or dancing!! 5 stars! Is he a plucker & u're helping him not be one?
My sister says that just because he has missing plumes doesn't mean that he is sick...a lot of african greys tend to pluck their feathers....he looks very cute dancing!
people can be so fuc*ing mean!!!! after reading some of the comments on here....it's pathetic how people talk crap about other people w/out even knowing anything about them.....discusting!!! that's why i LOVE animals because they are REAL and their emotions are REAL, and they don't talk about anybody and they love everybody....
...also, anyone who would take the trouble to write a post slagging off an animal need their heads seen to. Probably the type that extinguish cigarettes on their pets.
Clematis13 - If I were you I'd keep your negative comments to yourself. Ozzie Bird is an older bird who enjoys his dancing, counts in time to the music and enjoys a good 'feel good' stretch which to me is adorable and one of the cutest thngs I've seen. Go Ozzie Bird!!
My dad says your bird is ugly and called your bird a thing or an it . . . but he dosent know that much about animals and dosent know that thats what A LOT of birds look like before growing there colorful, beautiful, and wonderful feathers!Let me tell ya,your bird will be BEAUTIFUL!!
That is a great pet you have there!Take care of him\her and s\he will be awesome!!!(that is the CUTEST bird i have seen!Ceep it up with the videos of him\her!)
Schaut ein bisschen auf euer Tier das ist ja Tierqüälerei, aus diesem Video ist zu entnehmen das es dem Vogel extrem langweilig sein muss und das Ihm kaum aufmerksamkeit geschenkt wird. idioten PACK!
try to talk english...i know its hard for you german ppl, but do try so others can read too. you dont know the story to this bird....so dont accuse ppl gefore you know what is wrong.
He's saying that there are so little feathers on the bird, from the video you can infer that he must be extremely bored and given hardly any attention. Then he calls the bird's owner an idiot.
First of all, the bird hasn't picked that many feathers. Sure, it's possible that he picks but that doesn't imply negligence or boredom. Some birds pick for no fathomable reason. Lack of attention? He counts and dances along to his tunes which implies an attentive, caring owner who simply wants to share his talents with the world. I think Ozzy rocks.
The beautiful thing about this m,edium, is that if you dont like it, haul ass and get the fuck on with yourself..take your diagnosis with you...
