everytime i buy coca powder the brownie doesn't turn out the chocolate taste i want. Is it the cocoa's fault or am i just not baking thsi right?

It could be the type of cocoa powder. If the recipe asks for cocoa powder, make sure the kind of powder, either Dutch process (alkalized) or non (non-alkalized). In addition, make sure if it asks for unsweetened, you're using unsweetened. It may be your fault as well but don't take it as a knock, baking is hard - one little mistake will kill the whole thing.

Except multitasker/unitasker is the more correct term in the context used in Good Eats.

Saying multipurpose would imply that the object in question was originally designed to do everything you're using it for.

Multitask simply states that the object in question is capable of performing more than one task.

The difference is design intention.

I disagree, multitask suggests that the machine is capable of performing multiple functions at once, rather than a variety of different functions. Hell I would even settle for something like 'robust'

I don't think so. A purpose, if you ever took Philosophy, is an element of design. So, if the manufacturer intended for an object to have multiple purposes, then yes, you could correctly designate the term "multipurpose" to an object. If the user of the object finds an object to have more than one use, even though the designer did not intend for their product to be used as such, then I think unitasker is more appropriate, since the way they're using it was actually it's intended purpose.

Few things: I am actually a philosophy major and the definition of purpose you provide is but one of many valid conceptions of what the word means.

I guess the idea is that typically in american english people use 'multitask' to mean 'performing multiple tasks at once'. Let us call this parallel multitasking. This distinguishes it from serial multitasking which would be doing many individual tasks one after another. He could secretly have the 'serial multitasker' definition in mind but...
