@semiautoriflelover the forwards assist was never design to force the round in, it's for if the bolt doesn't seat (asumming the bolt is forward) all the way. for example i wouldn't want to hit it on a double feed. it's like having 4wd on a truck but again if you're really stuck, then you're stuck. it's just something nice to have.
@teddydc2 What happens though if the ammo is the problem and you force a bad round into the chamber? If my AR15 ever starts doing that I will put out my .45 and shoot and lube the AR later. Check out my 1911 video at 100 yards.
@semiautoriflelover hopefully this is not cheap ammo you're talking about cause i have had wolf that will not cycle the bolt and had to use the fa every round. with brass i've never really had a problem. forcing and bending the casing while using fa? well the round won't even seat there fore not even fire and you should know what to do to clear it. good shooting on the 100 yrd.
@teddydc2 Only time I ever had a jam or stoppage in an AR15 was when I used ammo with a lacquered case and after it heated up the rounds were getting hung up. I never used anything but American made ammo now brass case. Usually Federal, Hornday or my own handloads. My AK 47 never had a jam either, I have good luck.
When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll have one of those thank you. And throw in a Ak47 7.62 while you're on. Thanks.

very sexy gun, if only they had a forward assist i would've gotten one already.

@teddydc2 I've been shooting ARs for 15 years and never used the forward assist one time. I would never want to force a round inside.
