Your commentary is excellent. I certainly wouldn't know how to last as long as you have. Was this crit over 20 miles? Great placing~ Hope you enjoyed racing as much as I had watched it. Keep up the great work.
@bandera001 Thanks on the video. As far as the race course, I think it's fun and makes for great speed work; the riders themselves make course safe or not. I myself crashed there heavily Aug 2009, breaking my pelvis (first broken bone ever). That crash is why I always ride with a helmet cam now, in case I'm in a situation again where I need to be able to show what happened. Last year and this year it's been very safe, generally speaking.
@SprinterDellaCasa Hello Sprinter. You are right, riders make it safer or dangerous,I fell on 2008 I was at the back of the peloton when another rider just cut infront of me hiting my front tire with his rear and that was it.I went back a couple of times but felt nervous and also out of shape.I love the Bethel one cause it feels more like a route.Again, you are doing a nice job with the videos,is real action from a real world rider if you know what I mean.Take care.
Great video and very interesting race. This and your other videos helped me tremendously to get through winter months of doing workouts on the trainer.
@GildedAlien Heh. I was trying to figure out a non-cycling way of explaining it and I'd just been trying to explain to someone why he should pay off credit card debt quicker than slower.
@mcba I was suffering like crazy in that race, but I just couldn't give up. I felt so much internal pressure to keep going... I skipped a bunch of them but I probably almost sat up 5 or 6 times, seriously contemplated it. But in the end...
What's crazy is that for Ron and Aiden, it's just a training ride. Aiden rides there and it's not a short ride. They are so much stronger it's just incredible. Others too, but they basically dominate the series year 'round.
I died watching it when you were debating to be or not to be. I would have given up. But I am a Cat 6 rider.. LOL

And that's why everyone hates sprinters. They win even though they suck.

@Nawlins5 I like it too :) "20 or 30 years" I was trying to think of ways that people could relate to trying to bridge a gap.
