This was my first Megaman X game...I fell in love with ALL the music. Now I'm only missing Split Mushroom, Spaceport and...that's it!

Hmm, discovered this vid rather late... Anyway guys, I really wouldn't say that some tracks rock or suck. All I can say is, the music folks at Capcom did a great job in making the audio match the stage setting perfectly. All of them are awesome in their own right.

For those wondering how to get the audio tracks... this is what I did (long long ago). The audio tracks are saved as .bgm files on the CD. Rename them as .wav and encode as mp3. Works like a charm.

@luispick Actually Skiver doesn't want to hurt anyone, so if you fight him early in the game, he'll ask X or Zero to kill him before he becomes a maverick (he knows he is infected). If you fight him later, he is already turned into a maverick and just wants to kill them.

Since there were actually nine themes in the eight boss stages:

1. Jet Stingray - I've already said why :-p

2. Magma Dragoon - ditto

3. Cyber Peacock - nice ambient stuff.

4. Frost Walrus 2 - yes, again with the ambient.

5. Storm Owl

6. Frost Walrus 1 - Like the sounds used, although the instrumentation could have been a little meatier.

7. Web Spider - kinda blah.

8. Slash Beast - VERY blah.

9. Split Mushroom - the sounds they used for this annoy the hell outta me.

This was the best MMX game every I can't stop playing it even though I've beat it with both Zero and X It's music is so moving and My fave 2 themes would have to be Magma Dragoon, and Cyber Peacock. And yes Dragoon was not originally part of the Repliforce because he was originally a Maverick Hunter that betrayed the hunters.
