@MarkRiches Thanks! practice doubles and inverted doubles.. right hand lead and left hand lead.. do it over top of a quarter note bass drum, 8th note, and dotted 8th note patterns.. playing the doubles as 16th notes.. good luck!! practice hard!!

I think you were the chosen winner because you didn't just simply play a flurry of notes, which sounded great, but you also went into nifty grooves which further showcased your chops. Chops are alright...I enjoyed this video when u started being melodic with the drums. 1:08...im not sure if that was on purpose or not...I dont think so. However you played it off well, which means you have some improvisational skills. Hope to hear more on the "musicians" side instead of the "chops"

It took me a while to finally commit to this tom placement.. after having it like this and then trying to go back to the traditional tom over the kick, that actually feels natural now.. like its lopsided.. this is my preferred set up now for sure..
