  • she is so scary and powerful when she plays..

  • It's not whether or not she plays faster, or whether or not she has more expression, it is the unbelievable ease, which is so stunning!

  • I want to see her play Op 10 No 3 ha ha

  • Well played i only wish that i could play the piano to make any decent comment, but i loved it just the same.

  • ok...how in the world in langlang more know then she is...

  • She's the hottest and the most beautiful pianist in the world.

  • This one made me subscribe, I can't believe she did a combination of almost kissin/richter, almost note perfect, and faster than richter. Yes, we all know it's not about the speed, but it must have been one of those days were she did a chuck noris and said, AH FORGET IT, LETS BREAK SOME KEYS!!!

  • Wow! In an age when note-perfect young piano virtuosi are a dime a dozen, she is a rarity. She not only has phenomenal technical skill, but she also plays with wonderful expressiveness and imagination. She puts her own personal aliveness into each performance, in an exciting and captivating way. She is the Real Deal. She doesn't seem to have a web site. Is her performance schedule posted anyplace?

  • Just fantastic.. one of the best that I have ever listened to..

  • corr: "innate"

  • And....being familiar with these pieces I have YET!.....to hear a mistake anywhere.

What a FREAK of nature she is. (And I mean that in a good way of course).

Some people have an inate ability/talent for certain things and I'm sure she started playing piano quite early....my guess is at least 6 or 7 year before she was born. lol

The only other pianist/keyboardist that I can think of that matches Lim's crazy level of skill/ability is Hiromi Uyehara who I've seen live.(My jaw dropped).

  • I agree with you 'calandocalando'. One of the finest pianists I've ever seen.

Has it all...flawless, agressive technique where it is required..and heaps of sensitiveness and dynamics. Not to mention her playing is filled with emotion from start to finish. Wow. A joy to hear.

  • One of the absolute finest pianists I've seen. Wonderful spirited playing, dynamics, technique galore. Passion! Completely emotional plus flawless technique. A joy to listen to.

    Breathtaking.

  • i like her because she is so hotttt!!!!

  • 3:08 @_@" wow

  • This is not a about speed like argerich or richter, they play just so fast without music feelings, a bit like a machin that you can't hear any details and music.

Here I can distinguish and hear the harmony, the rubato, the accents, the music of Chopin indeed! My favorite rendition, 1000/5!

  • Is Op.10 No.4 really faster than Argerich and Richter on youtube?

  • Oh wow, thanks! I hope you upload the rest of her performances! :)

  • How do you begin? Where do you even begin to find the words as to how incredible a performance this is!?

    Thank you!

  • GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!

  • exceptionnal et powerful, Bravo!!!!!!!

Very original, first time I hear a pianist singing in that etudes, very refreshing!

    Originality +beauty+ideas+imaginations, 100/5!!

  • She plays with so much fun and imagination!! Thanks for it! Much better than all that pianists on youtube playing chopin's stuies, even famous ones!! Can davidavid uplaod all her chopin studies? Please! And tell where we can see her concerts in France, thanks.

  • Best pianist I've ever seen. And believe me, I heard these etudes everyday and played all of them, thought that I kew them very well until today.I discover Hyun-Jung LIM and in fact, I discover this etudes like I hear them for the first time. Thanks LIM!!!!!!!!

(She's really charming, especially at 2:00, so cute!!)

  • Oh and I never heard this etudes played this way ! So original ! THIS is music !

  • Oh my god I've been waiting new videos for so long ! You seem to be aware of her activity. When is she coming to Paris T_T ?!

  • I must have lived 49 years to finally hear these too much known pieces in the very musical and artistic way. Thank you for the imagination and terribly dramatic fourth etude. Terrific!
