  • 7:30 Very Beautiful : Basic Quality of Mind ... Form, not Substance.

    Give Thanks for the work.

BlEss Up All LIghtWorkErs (And EvEYOnE tOO!)

  • Good 'PART' 6:25

  • Sorry it took some of us a while to be ready.

  • Words are the bubbles of drowning men. As we feel we are also drowning , we gather the second hand bubbles in order to save us. The lack of full life in the bubbles make us want to gather more. Dead words and ideas from science and religion will not save us. Life and awareness needs no salvation.

  • Intelligence seems to be only with those who are capeable of using it wisely.

  • you see

  • he was a great thinker

  • @0:40 "They were working on a rather restricted area where the evidence was such to bring it out" I believe he is referring to the non-local(action at a distance) quantum entanglement where it appears to know a priori in our slow mass time. See Roger G. Vogelsang's self thinking interface. All information stems from what physicists now call a universal consciousness or Unified Field. A non-local conscious field of omniscient information vibrating or reflecting from every "part" of each atom.

  • Check out J. Krishnamurti,Carl Sagan, Jacque Fresco too you will have a lot to learn from them too.We stand on the shoulders of people like this man and when they are alive we ignore them because we are too brainwashed by society, religion,TV to detect and learn from a smart guy who escaped partialy from the social programming enforced on all of us.

  • So humble...

  • Thank You Sir!

  • Great listening to Bohm speak.

It's a pity the interviewer is largely incapable of asking a QUESTION. It's always "So what you're saying is ... " Common and annoying habit of journalists; always trying to reduce thoughts to a soundbite.

  • so much knowledge, but also so much wisdom, thats where he stands out from most physicist..

  • The interviewer asks some shitty questions.

  • There is nothing, this gives limit ,this is self referencing, this is recursive, this is quantifiable, this is relative, this quantifiability is itself recursive .and then again there is nothing,

  • Daoism has it pegged fir me, the way that has a name is not the nameless way, Tao te Ching, eastern thought is very refreshing!

  • We're all one.. Each one of us is both a part of and a copy of the whole. There is notion of a field that permeates all of the cosmos that astronomers have told us about. I believe that this field is consciousness and also surrounds each atom and turns it from energy to matter when we observe the atom with our consciousness which is evident in the 'breakdown of the wave function' and Einstein's 'E=mc2' formula for energy into matter. Just a thought.

  • listen to this guy he knows what hes talking about!!!!

  • A logical statement, on a left brain interpitation. You have to realize human beings alter the rue interpitation of what i perceive to be the true meaning which is that we are all one. Western logic dictates your idea which sound like your interpitation which is what he seem to be covering in this interview. I currently reading the users illusion.

  • @karljjr - you need to watch the video series again, i dont think you understand what Bohm is saying.

  • All religious text covers this material.

  • Well thats not entirely true, because religions espouse ideas, which are fragmentary. Some religions may have brushed close, such as Advaita Hinduism. What he's saying is that ideas cannot accurately combine to form the whole. The word accurately infers care, whereas to hash together a few 100 ideas to make a theory is ignoring incoherence, so its reckless. The word Religion derives from Re-Legare, meaning to re-gather together. To make a whole, all parts must be included, which can't be done!

  • @karljjr But religious texts also contain nonsense, this here doesn't. Religions cannot tell us which parts of their tradition are the truth and which aren't, and they have no method of corroborating and or falsifying their own statements. They cannot make the connection to reality. Some of the rare mystics can make the connection in practice and experience, but not in theory and not scientifically.

  • This knowledge goes back to to beging of man. Lao Tzu First there was the 1 then 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and then 10000 things. We have always had thisknowledge. It was lost when and where, maybe with the biging of man. Maybe when and Adama and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge.

  • only little more then 3000 views for one of the most important vids in youtube...this tells a lot about how ignorant the masses are

  • Well said...

  • @Massimo1GK

to be patient is a virtue ;)

    2years later it`s 11.531 views.

  • @Massimo1GK so true ...

  • Is he saying that information modulates the universal field?

  • Yes. What he is saying is that fields are constantly interacting and exchanging information with each other which enables them to define themselves (ie the nature of wave collapse). What he was trying to do was enlarge Bohr's interpretation so that it was not just the Observer doing the Observing. Everything was observing everything else. The modern idea of 'Entanglement' is not dissimilar, although Bohm's theory is not credited as an influence.

  • Indeed its still regarded as wrong by most Scientists. Bohm was pursuing the logical conclusions of the idea of Wholeness in the Universe and argued that a lot of the problems of Quantum Science were resolved by his theory, which was known as the Causal or Ontological Theory. If Bohm is right that coherence (ie applicability in terms o f explanation) demonstrates the validity of a Theory then his Theory is closer to the truth than Bohr's.

  • He speaks so fast and the ideas are arrive so quickly its sometimes hard to keep up! Try THE ESSENTIAL DAVID BOHM ( ISBN: 0415261740) for an introduction to this man's amazing ideas. Regardless of his contribution to Science his explorations into the nature of Consciousness are pure genius.

  • well, i guess yes, you could see it that way.

  • agreed *he said dribbling and frowning in confusion*

  • genius
