  • This as I remember was the day that that toad Adams let off loads of black balloons in "Protest". No doubt pulically showing his allegence to Al Qaeda.

  • Is that Killaloe from Co Clare?

  • @celt293 Tis aye.

  • Great video, nice to some love for the boys from the folks at home.

  • Could somebody tell me how is called the march the band is playing?. Thanks, from Galizia.

  • @panchofixer The March is the Royal Irish Regiments tune and is called Killaloe

  • @sparky2k1 Thank you very much, sir.

  • class vid, an a class regiment

  • great video well done....hope one day to see the regt granted the freedom of the city of belfastbut not with what we got now...well done guys

  • Whatever happened to seargant junior brown? He was my sarge in 84. Great seargant.

  • Can anyone tell me what happened to sgt junior brown, he was my seargant in training at ballymena in 84, along with corporal doakes and corporal goose cowan.dunkirk platoon, we passed out in feb 85.

  • Irish Traitors.

  • gr8 vid

  • typical comments from the back shooters of the ira rira and their cohorts

  • senting the poor of one nation to kill the poor of another, you lads are pawns to the queen, when you die, she won't cry for you besides your mother and father, it will be your family that will have to deal the the greff

  • @papadoc711 Did you lot miss the school bus on purpose ?

  • @sparky2k1 when you lose someone you love for a old cunt you've never met, who takes your hard earned money taxing you to LIVE!! then you'll understand ya fucking twat

  • @papadoc711 So your saying I would be better in and Ireland with an economy that owes Billions to the UK who helped save their arses? With a laughable tax system that is grinding people to poverty to cover there own asses in paying off the 100+Billion bailout ? Gis a break ya idiot and have a think about the true state Ireland is in. Many join the British Forces due to better pay & training way above what the Irish Army offer and I salute them for that.

  • @sparky2k1 lol is that what you care about, Money??? would you betray your own island for money, lol haha coming to the army part, the pay more becuase the army do more 16,000 a year is that what your life is worth to britian, and ni police officer get payed 24,000 a year, and it goes up with every of every year of service,

  • @sparky2k1 part 2

now the irish army don't invade other nations unlike britian, as in the past ten years britian has fought in iraq and afghanistan, killing 100's of civilians and misplacing 1000's leaving them homeless, killing over 800 civilians in iraq with airstrikes alone,

  • @papadoc711 Nice dodge of the last answer ;). Enjoy Her Majesty's visit this month :)

  • @sparky2k1 if you forggot it was the eu the % of it, lol but any money from your hard earned tax is more than welcome to any irish family who have to suffer to the hands of british brutality, as it is money YOU care most about and not your country, Ireland that is, as i persum u were born on the island of ireland, and yet you call your self british lol

  • @papadoc711 You have a short memory. YOU brought the subject of money into the conversation, try reading back or wait till someone comes home that could read it too you. As for where I was born, Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. Regardless of what you say you can't take away my identity ;)

  • @sparky2k1

lol so your irish then, N.Ireland, has no border, you live in ulster a 9 countie province? you sure as hell don't see your fellow ulster brethren in the other three counties as foreigners cause that would sound quite idiotic lol

  • @papadoc711 The Brethren you speak of were unfortunately let down by and English betrayal after WWI. I'm sure they are still quite proud to march and celebrate like anyone else in Northern Ireland, UK. You can spout what you like but your going to have to accept I'm British regardless of your views ;) My passport confirms that. Just like the citizens of Gibraltar ;) Now piss aff yer gettin monotonous.

  • @papadoc711 Yeah, the Irish army also didn't fight the Nazis, way to let others do it for you.

  • @marinesnip Don't forget, these streets where lined with 10's of thousands. The slight pathway the RIR had through wasn't a problem. They enjoyed the welcome & support ;)

  • HELP....I am 78 years old and cannot play my pipers or even go to mass...could someone tell me how to play the pipers or go to an old mass?

  • @jimmidge13 Ask your local Priest, they seem well qualified playing with pipes.

  • @sparky2k1 Geee never would have thought of that....LOL.....BUT MUST thank you for the pipers....It was so great

  • @sparky2k1 lol

  • @jimmidge13 i am sure they can play with you at mass !!

  • Proud to be from Belfast, Proud to be British!!!!

  • lunanjames,i was a soldier in the british army. my comrades came from all over the commonwealth, australia, south africa, new zealand, ireland, england, wales, and all points north, south, east and west. they were, and still are my mates. they looked after me and i looked after them. if i was in trouble they were in trouble, if they were in trouble, i was in trouble. on a personal level, we had our ups and downs. but when it came to it, we would have given everything for each other.

  • Hey thank you for your reply..I understand and good to know

  • You are ill educated.. No need to reply ;)

  • Bobby Sands could've been doing with a pizza or two! hahaha

  • @Rockonbigfella Away little armchair republican. I blame the priest for what he did to you.

  • What a day. Incredible.

  • Nice one Sparky2k1 ,I appreciate you taking the time to up this,

Welcome home lads you's made your families and your fellow countrymen very proud of you's.

My heart goes out to the families there who suffered loss :-(

Regards from here in Glasgow :-)

  • The tune is Killaloe it's the quick march of the Royal Irish Regiment

  • Does anyone know what this tune is called?

  • Where was the protest? Great vid?

  • The protest was to coincide with the passing of the parade in Belfast. Personaly I didn't see it, nor did I wish too.

  • You lucky bast**d, you could not have choreograpahed that better!!! The Drums cresendo, then the flutes come in the the pipes take it off, all as they pass your point. I can't stop watching this, it's perfect!!!

  • Thanks for the comment excoolpool.. Yer a agree was very fortunate how it happened.. but the troops deserve to be shown in the correct manner an I thought this was perfect, though not only the catching of Killaloe, but the pride on the faces. Again thanks for the comment.

  • Yea of course, I did not intend to demean the courage of our soldiers and the pride shared by us all (thankfully I sleep a bit easier knowing we have men of this calibre defending our liberty, democracy and life) I was just caught up with the dramatic spectacle of what you caught. Respect.

  • Yes mate I understand, Dont get me wrong I was not at all having a go at your comment, just letting you know how they should have the right to the parade to welcome home. And as someone has already pointed out, It Killaloe the RIR's "Theme". ATB sparky2k1
