His role as Ben was just a taste of what we will see in 09. I found myself engrossed in the traumatic situation of Bens farming accident, but at the same time was slightly entertained/comforted by his witty attitude. I think its great to see a short film like this expose undiscovered talent

yeah fair call about the editing.. however some of this acting was amazing, was i in a time capsule back in the 70's? im not sure.... real funny guys keep up the good work guys enjoy the samboys!!!!

I don't know where to start with this! Everything is GOLD in this film.. From the car hitting scene, to when Death emerges from the bushes.. yas even managed to give it that "70's" feel in the flashback..
Brilliant - it has a wide variety of props, different sets/scenes, character development and a plot ........... this is real amateur film-making at its best. My only criticism is the actor working behind the counter in the Store - he really needs to get some dental work done on his teeth, because he looks like he could eat a cob of corn through a tennis racquet with choppers like that.
I have been sitting here looking for a decent Samboy Short Film for about half an hour now. I must say majority of videos lack storyline and character development, but this is definitely an exception to the rule.
MatEgan and his crew have clearly succeeded in developing a short film that tells an interesting/humorous plot of Monty and his history with the Samboy chip and its flavour hit.
Its good to see great efforts of planning and production seek a reward when onscreen. Top effort guys
This is by far the benchmark in the Samboy entries... This piece of work not only has interesting characters, but a storyline that develops throughout the presentation. It is fresh to see they have tried to make this an actual short film and not like an ad that runs under a minute like every other entry.. Some great dialogue and overall cinematics make this the competition winner in my books. Really well put together fellas!!! 5 stars.
BEST SAMBOY ENTRY EVER!!!!!!!looks like alot of time and effort went into this.....really deserves to win....great story line and good ametuer acting...well done boys!!!

Story had me in stitches. Me and my partner, Beaver, were literally in tears from this!! Our favourite part was when he got hit by the car!!
