I strongly agree that this teaser trailer is A LOT better than the original trailer. This trailer captures so much more of the character development and essence of the film. THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY is an excellent movie; one of my favorite best films of the 90s following THE GRIFTERS and THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. And interestingly, supporting players Cate Blanchett and Philip Seymour Hoffman went on to receive Oscars themselves, and Jude Law another nomination from an Anthing Minghella film.

I love this version of the trailer. It shows pieces of a few scenes that were later cut from the film (for example, when Ripley is talking to Marge while she is in bed; Marge walking along the beach). How I wish these deleted scenes had been included in the DVD release!

Thank you for uploading this trailer (the teaser). It is far better than the other one, which is cheesy, gives too much away, and doesn't capture the essence of the film. Also, it uses music from the Matrix!
