It's nothing about "blaming" anyone. It's about letting go of the blame and deciding how you're going to respond in a way that hurts YOU the least. Anger and revenge, retaliation and even our idea of "what's just" are often merely "thoughts" that hurt us and stand in the way of healing, freedom and joy. She says the Work is not for everyone...
This is all very nice here- but i just watched a video on her website where she bullied and manipulated a confused gay man- Blaming the victim, instead of his victimizers. Many times laughing at him for his legitimate feelings that people want him to be a second class citizen. suggesting that he had made it all up. I am sure that her website will block any comments that do not praise her work. So i am asking here on YT. Why do you think that blaming the victim is a positive message?
@hexum7 The point of The Work is that it is OUR thoughts about what IS that dictates our feelings and therefore our lives. The Work is not about bullying or manipulation, it is about getting to the core of our beliefs (which are just thoughts) so that we can free ourselves of the misery that those thoughts bring us.
@hexum7 She didn't say he made anything up, only that it is his THOUGHTS about what IS (reality) that are causing him pain. It is a difficult concept to grasp when we are so bought in to our blame, guilt and victimization.
@lyfesgr8 it's not a difficult concept to grasp- it's pretty simple. what i meant is that she suggested that he did not know the reality of what was said to him and what was the intention. he was bmanipulated to agree that he did not know the intention because, for instance, his mother may have told him that she was disappointed casually, without actually meaning it or thinking about it- when in fact, that makes it all the more cruel
@lyfesgr8 if you watch that video, there is evedence, by the way he interacts with katey, that the gay man in it was trying to please aher by agreeing with her, because he needed an autrity figue (katey) to give him permission to ignore his feelings- she should have acknowledged this, instead of exploiting his weakness in that area it to show that she is right
We all need more love; that magical, transforming power. When we let it into our hearts, our world shifts. Nothing truly matters except the way we give and receive love. I highly recommend: “Precious Gifts of Love” by C.J. Good (AMAZON). 366 daily reflections explore the meaning and miracles of love. Breaking through the confines of self-imposed obstacles to freedom; feeling contentment in all aspects of life, is the purpose of its message.
"On a ce qu'on veux" ça peux sembler simpliste mais c'est en accord avec la réalité.
Comme dit Byron Katie : Il y a souffrance seulement là ou il y a confusion et argumentation avec la réalité. Avec l'aide de 4 simples questions elle nous montre comment on peut en arrivera dénouer ce qui nous trouble. Je la trouve sensationelle
