Dear Swamiji, I cannot thank you enough for sharing these insights into the Bhagavad Gita! The story and the characters seem pretty wild on the surface, but with your guided interpretations from Yogananda, the Gita has become a powerful tool for diving deeper on the spiritual path. I have been reading the "Essence of the Bhagavad Gita" and the smaller book of verses only, but to have your video commentary as well, is such a blessing! I look forward to reviewing all of them!
Paramahamsa Yogananda , through his autobiography brought me to divine consciousness; now i am wanting to find others that have opened their sahaswara chakra.
I'm not sure that I've ever seen the spiritual eye (five pointed star in blue field with golden ring described in Essence of the Gita). However, I do feel God's presence in meditation--but I don't really see the spiritual eye or have an awareness of the chakras. Does that matter?
An American Swami giving a fresh approach to the ancient scripture-what a delight to hear Yogananda's wisdom expounded in such a rich and fluid presentation.
I find it fascinating the allegorical relationship between the Pandava brothers and the chakras. It took a Master to reveal this hidden truth. Swami is a tremendous channel for Yogananda's teachings.
