@seanmichaelokeefe Actually in a story I wrote for a Long Island (NY) newspaper about STS-1 back in April of 1981, I said shuttle Columbia cleared the tower in only a fraction of the time the Saturn moon rockets took to do it and that she had taken off "like a scalded cat," which is the historically correct English phrase. So just chalk it all up to Great Minds Think Alike. By the way... are you related to (or are you) former NASA Administrator Sean O'keefe ???!?

For years, Sumio, I have loved showing your previous shuttle launch videos to my friends who visit me here on the Florida Space Coast -- telling them that the vids capture (especially as regards the sound) they way it is as well as anyone has ever done. I was at the Press Site for the STS-135/Atlantis launch, but did not know you had returned for one more video. (Had I known, I would have introduced myself.) You have done it again !! A souvenir to keep for a lifetime... THANK YOU !!!

@sullie35 The shuttle program was scheduled to be canceled long before Obama took office. And right now is probably the worst time (though I think it's the best) to tell the american people we're gonna buckle down on manned space flight no matter what the cost. He be overrun by a mob of tea partiers!
