For me, my hair has really been hard to do ever since i tried spiking it. This worked the best. Theres another comment underneath that says "gorilla snot" (a product i guess) is pretty good. ive never tried it, but i do reccomend got2b! (: Just remember to blow dry and hold up while doing it

At the time i did my mohawk it took 13 minutes :D! but when i first started out 40-60 :(

@xMohawk wow... when I had mine it took me 3 hours but of course I had no idea what I was doing. To get it up I used some of that freeze spray, elmers glue, gel, and even tried to take an iron to it. By the end of the day the top was leaning. Which has prevented me from wanting to do it again. But maybe I may have to give it another shot.

oh shoot! yeah dude you def should! dont use elmers glue though! just use the items i used and use a blow dryer instead! and to make it easier you could also straighten your hair beforehand! Let me know how it goes!!

These products would DEF be the way to make it stand. but for that you'd have to use a comb and use more of the hairspray than the gel. but its very doable and a very good style and i have seen it done. You'd have to comb it up and hairspray and then blow dry, and then do the other sides. Make sure you get your hair cut appropraitely!

i actually dont have a mohawk right now BUT having long mohawks are always cooler than the smaller ones! but a good 4-5 inches is really good. In the video it is about 7-7.5 inches

Hmm well that used to happen to me if i put on too much, but i got over that once i started getting better, try messing around with your hair when you get bored and see what you can do

It might also be youre putting on too much g2b glue and it weighs the hair down to split, remember hairspray, blow dry, then little bit of g2b glue gel to keep it going the whole day

@zackz22 I used to have the same problem, is your hair wavy or curly? If it is either of the two, you may want to try straightening your hair prior to applying any product to it, for me this worked pretty well... and my mohawks are pretty kick ass to this day.

What i do is I get a hot iron and straighten that bitch, then i use American Crew (fiber) hair pomade, It looks way sicker than this, and it looks natural, no shine, so it looks effortless. girls dig effortless guys :) although my mohawk is a bit lower... i like to make mine look a little messy so its not too perfect.

Try sleeping on your side, and just keep head on one side.. and when you need to move.. just turn your whole head and body to the other side.. dont sleep looking straight up

if you want it wide, make sure to get it cut wider at first, and after that depending on how your hair grows it should be no problem :)

hehe the gel isnt really needed for people with straight hair, but yours is very very curly so i guess thats the reason why you use it right? cause ppl with straight hair dont need gel because hairspray holds it up fine

Yo yeah that makes sense! its that Hairspray holds it up really well but it doesnt last.. itll start to like fall down eventually and not stay as straight up! And the gel like prevents zero flaking if you dont use too much and makes it super hard..
