  • You moron. Don't you understand that Clear doesn't work everywhere!!!! Moron. It can be faster in the right place. They use very high frequencies, therefore very short range.Somehow with even lower specs, it works quite well.

  • Ya know, I've read all these complaints about ClearWire. I've been with them for a little over a year now, and I've only had a couple times when the modem went out due to shitty weather (I live in Western New York, so we get a lot of crappy weather). I play WoW - a LOT. Anywhere from 3-10 hours a day depending if I have to work on a clients site, and I get a better connection on ClearWire than I do on my TWC RoadRunner, and that's a damned cable ISP..

  • Forgot to mention, latency is NEVER above 200. Whether I'm in a home town (Org for me, which is shit-packed now that they dropped the ports in Dal and Shatt) or a dungeon. It's possible, listening to your accent, that you purchased a ClearWire modem in some backwoods town they don't support, or where it gets the very minimum of coverage.

  • It's true. Using this service till i get back to my own place and this thing fucking blows. Can never get anything below 300 and all of the heroics are around 2k. Makes it unplayable. It's unfortunate people actually live with this service and deal with it.

  • @DantesLady18 Yeah I agree. Dalaran and SW are high traffice zones. Once you get to areas like Theremore or Storm Peaks you should be okay

  • @sprucepantherkmt my clear is awesome like latency at 290

  • I am sorry but I have clear and my latencey was at 29 fps. I am good. Not sure what your deal is bro

  • clear wire dose suck i just got it today and im about ready to throw it out the window i only get a 2-3 bars rggggg ( at lest runescape kindda works =]

  • @drunkenbuddist yeah man i live in WA , i get five complete bars but lagging like shit and i cant play my game

  • An updated message from 4 months ago.... So now it ranges from 500-1200.... which is now super gay.. and it always disconnects, all the fucking time.. and i have 5-9 bars on my usb modem!!! What the fuck.. foliage my ass, nothing even next to me. Hello AT&T DSL without a phone line at least it won't be this shitty.

  • i get 300-500 latency when playing wow, including 25 man raids which is shitty, but still okay. although downloading is shit, i get like 50kps.. and its gay though because i can get 1-3 bars only.

  • There is a screenshot on the website of my mage alone in Shattrath with 27k latency... and no one is ever in Shattrath. Even in Dalaran and Stormwind you shouldn't experience 2k and 4k latency. I never do on my other ISP.

  • idk bout u guys but as of december i started to get really good connection from clear, yea the first couple weeks it was shit but it was pretty new here in san antonio and it would get those lines crap looking for signal, but now, even in thunderstorms its still up and running,i like it now.and i dont lag at all whats so ever and only run 3-4 bars on it,NEVER have i seen 5 bars but its fine on 3 bars, i play this and xbox live and its fine, maybe its just where u live i guess

  • yall inter net sucks then cause clear is fast for me this vid loaded all the way in 1 min for real vlear wire rocks

  • yeah, i think it depends where you are.... and how many ppl have it around you.... for instance, my friend, we live in a small town, that i guess is covered, i am gonna get it soon i think, but he says it is good enough to play Xbox Live at a good connection

  • yeah bro also get firefox if u wanna get faster or safari and depensd relly on ur computer to

  • There is no need to try to shut us down. If we were that bad we would be shut down by now. YOu people are amaze me... Just accept that you can not get our coverage, like im sure you can not get T-mobile, sprint or Verizon. I am sure there is a cellphone company that is known worldwide that you can not use.. Try to shut them down too.

  • Bitch fuck yo couch fixed yo god damn internet!!! Shit man take me so long to load a fucking page. no offence fix your fucking internet!

  • i live in vegas...I thought I give the home and mobile I try for 7 days.....sux to be me. There's a big hill block their signal to my house...spent 2 hours with techs ....they said I can't be save. so for the mobile, I went around town getting less than 1mb download. Unless I'm next by a window, I'm ok. But if I'm in a building with no windows, I'm screwed, no signals....guess CLEAR is not very CLEAR for me....sux to be me.

  • Looks like you have a AMD cpu ;-)

  • im on clearwire atm, took 13 mins apox.

    to load this video

  • I'm in Portland and I am paying for the 3mbps service but I usually get around 600-700 kbps down. Early this summer speeds were ok, but the last six weeks have been total crap at almost all hours of the day. I'm going to downgrade to the 1mbps since it seems they haven't bothered to build out more capacity as they have added more users resulting in crap service, even youtube lags severely at times... Caveat Emptor...

  • i get 1000(if i am the luckiest guy ever!)to 14000 latency usually on a good day with no clouds i get 1200-2100 latency and i got sattelite

  • I would say i have a above average connection. Seems as though clear has built in extra latency id say is at least 50ms. I ping a server in my city and get about 75ms.The majority of the time i do get the full bandwidth which is 10mb with the speed boost and dips to 6mb which is what i pay for. I do expect alot higher quality of service though and for broadband the latency definetly falls short. For someone who likes to game there service is sub-par.I will be switching to Cable in the future.

  • If only i can watch this video... the stupid clearwire won't even load it fast enough

  • Hey how did you get the video to zoom in to your cursor? I can't do that!

  • If you use Camtasia (which I have used for these videos) there is a feature called Zoom and Pan. You add it to the timeline and you can adjust what percentage of zoom you want.

  • Cool thx. I had ClearWire once, I get about 1.5 Mbps or 2 Mbps, but the signal always drop when it's cloudy or stormy. My neighbor still use it, and it sucks! I can't watch a YouTube video without it stopping.

  • Yeah <.< it sucks!!I Get 900 ping when i play Steam Games!!!!

  • Thank you for spreading to message of just how much a ripoff this service is!
