I watched this movie for 2 times, even i'm not lesbian and i don't like lesbian stories, but this movie broke my heart. it reminds me the time when i lived in Iraq during the war. how people can died in a minute and disappear forever. I love the story it touched my heart very much.

Looooove this film with a passion. Their love crosses borders, religion, race, sex... like it's supposed to in any love relationship. Wonderful. I had many teary moments. Also because I'm Dutch maybe... my family has gone through some of the same horrors as Lily and Felize. Beautiful film. I highly recommend it - historically too.

@iiiiiccccc Yes, one can relate on so many levels.....1939-1945 lives on in the grandchilldren ( like me) but we have to use it as markers from which we can combat any sign of this evil if it comes again :-)!
