Check Out my Video that I made with Pinnacle Studio 14. Its a Halo 3 Machinima; But I hope you like it; I do agree though that Steady Camers Angles and Multipule Shots do look more exciting in a way! Let me know what you think. It was 26 hours of work. It is 10 min. But I would be so Happy if you were to watch it. :) - AnE Productions
all my videos have audio lag, is there anything i can do to fix it? its all fine when I'm watching my video on the actual Pinnacle Software. but when i "Make Movie" it lags a couple of seconds.
you plud the audio and video out into a box a little larger than a box of cards and an external memory source to the other end. click record and it records what you have on the screen
Thanks! i'll see if i understanded that! cause you PLUD? the audio and video out into a box..... like the gray box that connects to the TV And Xbox and PC? if thats that. i could make my Capture card before i even know what hit me... seriously....
when i was like 7-8 years old i had this old camera, and i used to put it on stuff outside and make small films. Now i hae a better camera and i also edit the movies. I am soon getting pinnacle and then i am going to follow this movie.
Hello you have some great info here thank you. I am new with all the computer thing, and I was wondering if you can show me how to set up my pinnacle studio? I have already did the cd part. I don't know what else I need to do what cords I need. Please help me. if you can show it on a vd that would be great. Thank you!
thanx but i hav 1 more question me and my friends are doin the reverse effect and i was wondering how do u actually make the footage u edited go in reverse using pinnacle studio 11?
Alright it is very simple. When you open up your project you are going to look at the tools on the left. You'll see a camera icon, a lighning bolt icon,a "T" icon, etc. The CAMERA button below the MUSIC SYMBOL icon is what you want to click. It is right above your timeline. If you hold the mouse over the icon it will say "Open/Close video toolbox." This will open up a new window in that place, it will scroll to the top.
Click the "T" tab, it is the second option from the top of your new window. Click the option "Full Screen Title" Now your text box comes up. On the right hand side you should be seeing different text styles. They should be showing "Aa" in the boxes. To the left of the first text box you will see "Aa" Below that is a dessert picture with a cactus and sun. Click on that picture.
A new window come in on the right side. You will see 3 color palletes at the top. Below that are two pictures, the cactus picture and a folder. Click on the folder and this will let you access your photos where ever you have them saved.
Open up the folder that you keep your photos in. Now your pictures are shown up on the right side. Click the picture you want and it should appear in the big screen to the left. Click "OK' on the bottom of the window. It may take a couple of seconds but you will see the picture go into your timeline when it's done.
Now that your picture is in your timeline heres how you animate it to zoom in and out. In your toolbox where we selected the "T" tab. The option above that is what we want to click. It looks like a scissor cutting a piece of film. Now you are at your Pan and Zoom selection. Select the box that says "Animate from start to end" Now you can control if your picture zooms in or zooms out on your picture.
If you want to ZOOM IN heres how you do it. Click the Set End option. Now click the zoom bar to zoom in on your picture. You can center it by clicking and dragging your picture on the left side in the preview box. Repeat this for the rest of the photos.
If you want to ZOOM OUT heres how you do it. Dont click Set Start or Set End, just move the zoom bar how ever close you want to start the picture. Once you have that click the Set End button and now the picture should be back to the full frame. Most time you leave it the way it is but you can zoom in more and have the picture zoom out to that point.
Go to the edge of the photo clip in your timeline. If you extend the clip longer then the zoom will go slower. If you make your clip shorter the zoom will go faster.
Once you have finished your project go to the Make Movie Tab at the top next to the Edit Tab. You are going to choose to create a file. You will see, depending on the file format how large the video file is in MB. YouTube I believe can upload 100MB videos. The best way to cram that kind of video in that small amount of space is exporting your video in MPEG 1 (I think).
When you select the different formats choose the format that will give you the smallest space. (Note: The smaller the MB file the quality will be reduced).
We had a lot of make shift equipment. The boom mic was a stick of wood with a mic holder taped to the tip, just to tell you if you are thinking of creating a class on a small budget.
Hey, I think Pinnacle is very easy to use. Compared to other softwares I have used Pinnacle does a lot more then other softwares and is simple to use. I think it is great that you want to start up a film making class. All the films on my YouTube page was created in my film class's in high school. The boom mics were available for us to use and the more expierenced film makers would tend to use them more then the kids who just learned how to turn on a camera.
i am the tech guy for a school and have been thinking of teaching a movie making class. But i only use movie maker for my vids. Is pinnacle easy to use for kids who may have never made videos before?
If that doesnt work then take off the check mark in Enable Chroma Key and select the backround footage (footage in the first line) and enable the chroma key to that footage. One of those should work. If that doesnt work then reverse the foootage and do the same steps. If that doesnt work let me know and I will retrace my steps.
I believe that the backround footage has to go in the first video line. (Where you would normally drop your video footage.)Then drop the green screen footage on the video line below that. While the green screen footage is selected, open ur toolbox and select the chroma key tab. Theres a button that says Enable Chroma Key and once you hit that ur green screen should be the backround footage you put in the first video file.
me and pinnacle studios have been through a lot together lol. to be honest, it's not the best and is glitchy and annoying sometimes, but it is really easy to make movies and produces pretty good results so i love it.
90% is stuff that U dont need (how to put a battery in, what scenes better not to film, ...)
BUT editing with pinnacle takes only 5-8% of the time and is too fast and too unspecial (better show: how to change the text design, how to make the scenes longeer or shorter, how to make a slowmotion, what is the difference in all the options of rendering the film (MPEG 1 or 4 , AVI, direct DVD copy, ...)
THIS is what I expected when reading your title "...make a Video WITH PINNACLE STUDIO" !!
ok fair enough if anyone has questions on how to use the software and use effects please send me a message and i will get back to you. This video was for a project in school...i understand where you're coming from tho. Please feel free to ask me questions that arent answered in my video
Whenever Pinnacle Studio freezes and it tells me to submit a report on what I was doing at the time, at the the bottom of report window I see "Gather System Info..."...
What the HELL does that mean?! Is it leeching my computer's personal info?! BULLSHIT!!
Ok I used to get that too, I'm not 100% sure what that means. I believe it has something to do with the total memory on your computer. Your video you are editing might be a bit long and every time you save it you're adding more render files and such on your computer. My advice is edit in small chunks instead of dropping everything in the timeline at once and invest in more memory and hard drive space.
I used the free version of Pinnicle once and hated it, it locked up all the time, but WMM is so limiting and it also locks up a bit... I thought it was a fun video for what it was intended for. You guys really use boom mics?
Hey can you tell me how to include 4 different videos and play them all at the same time ???
