A Dynamic Mic (Like the one she uses on the video) Uses part of signal strenth(Vocal Vibrations) to power the mic. A Condensor mic is powered by the mixing board(Phantom Power)

What this means is that a condensor mic is much more sensitive (better quality) than a dynamic mic. The reason the dynamic mic is used for live performances is because it don't feed back as bad as a condensor mic.

Also the dynamic sound better if the room is not acousticly ballanced, beacause it does not pick up as much reverb
