@TheJimpaxton The bible says that shepards were tending to their flock in the fields at the time, so it had to have been in the warm months when Jesus was born, not in the winter because that makes absolutely no sense. Why would shepards be out in the fields with their flock instead of in a nice warm barn?. Dumbass. Maybe you should start to question what that book of fairytales is telling you.

@XxRainbowLezxX You're correct about the timing of Jesus's birth. I don't think anyone know the exact day he was born really... The church chose a day close to the Winter Solstice because many pagans had holy days on the solstices and equinoxes; they did it so that the pagans they were converting would be able transition more easily into Christianity

it IS a bit humorous that "We THREE KINGS" is sung by TWO FEMALES (who do a good job by the way), but it is no more ironic than a GROUP of MEN or boys singing "Ave Maria" (the prayer of ONE FEMALE, the protagonist Ellen, to the Virgin Mary in Sir Walter Scott's poem "Lady of the Lake.")

Actually, there's nothing to conferm that Jesus was born on Christmas Day. The Bible does not state directly that he was born in the winter, specifically December. I can't quite remember why we celebrate it on Dec. 25... But we do celebrate Chirstmas to celebrate our Kings birth!

@GodLovesUs100 well He may have been born then but i think the reason Christmas is celebrated on Dec 25 is because it is nine months after march 25, which is the annunciation of the lord in which jesus was concieved.
