  • Nice video!

Thanks for uploading it for us!

    ^_^

  • ok why do they hold thier sticks up like that? and why do they get sooooo close like they are whispering secrets? where can i find the rules on kendo so i can understand it

  • @pruittarthur ask google :)

  • teramoto is a freaking genius

  • thank you so much for the video, i have been look for nice quality high speed kendo footages :)

  • I have no idea how kendo works. o_o. Still really cool and fun to watch even though I don't get it at all.

  • @Stairwellchild im sorry i'm 6 months late but kendo it like sword fighting but with sticks

  • Uchimura Sensei for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice

  • 3:00 not yoneya but someya

  • I only wish it came in 1080 HD. It is super beautiful still. :] Wish my Kendo was that beautiful.

  • I finally understand why they call it martial "art". This is so beautiful.

  • 音楽w せつないwww

  • woah they look so elegant, probably not really in the real match

  • I would like to see the full match between Imoto and Suzuki, can anyone tell me where I can find it please?

  • 1:00 couldn't be a men point...

  • amazing, thanks 4 posting it,Wonderfull

    The Diceman

  • @ 1:27 does imoto's tsuru break? or is that just me? i think i saw some sort of string coming from his shinai when he finishes his kote-men

  • @wickedpoet667 : I saw it... it proved how strong his strike was :D, Jodan men is always the strongest strike in kendo :D

  • @wickedpoet667 :owwwpss... it was not a jodan men :( it was a combo of Kote and men strike

  • @wickedpoet667 It's his ki .__.

  • 0:33 amazing!

  • This was an excellent video. Thank you very much.

  • awesome

  • great clip!

  • 0:28 doh was not that good c'mon. he ran off to the side...Eiga would go diagonally forward all the way with zanshin

  • @shuuosaka Zanshin can be described as a ball moving in forward motion till an opposing force acts on it. It the 0.28 Do cut, Shimeyatsu san's taiatare clearly pushed him off, preventing a diagonal forward Zhanshin, which is why he moved to the side. Firther more, Zanshin is not "running". Zanshin is part of your cut. It was a good point, good timing, good distance.

  • @joshsiow nah...don't agree.

  • @shuuosaka 0.28 wasn't a Do friend. It was a Kote point.

  • @joshsiow, that was clearly a do for Uchimura.

  • 0:28 best kaeshi dou ive ever seen

  • i just answered my own question lolll

  • Can you tell me the name of these songs?

  • what is the name of these songs?

  • Great compilation thnx! :D

1:00 I remember watch this match in normal speed and wasn't men at all...Maybe the shinpans got in a no-sight-stand but even then the sound of air plus fumikomi is quite different than men plus fumikomi...

  • Thanks for sharing, ejoyed it ^^

  • 1:34 Imoto Men is awesome! But the Imoto's Naka-Yui after the men... :D:D:D

  • Tsuru, not nakayui,

  • Uchimura had some really nice strikes.. but I'm really disappointed with the foul. Would he have won without the fouls, quite possibly, but it was so flagrant.

Also, from 0:57 to 1:16, it should be "Shigematsu" not "Shimeyatsu."

  • as well as 1:21 ...nice kombination there

  • I couldn't agree more...4:55 was amazing

  • 4:55 That was amazing

  • 1.11 was he putting up the flag before the do was hit? In which case what was he awarding?

  • The point awarded was for men by Takanabe, white.

  • can't you see he's raising a white flag!?

  • Can't you see Takanabe's men strike on 1:00? O.o

  • Well, that's an ear strike, technically, but pretty easy to armchair it while watching in slo-mo.

  • but i think the judgment was wrong!!it was not correct men!!
