Of course WoW had flying mounts first...WoW like popularized them. Shit, WoW popularized alot of things. But Flying mounts were a concept long before WoW's time. Cmon, the ability to ride a bird in flight, dont give them that much credit. They revolutionized an already existing idea, in the game world. And games and companies copy each other ALL THE TIME. Every MMORPG is just about the same tihng. Kill,level,interact,stronger skills that others etc,Ive played both Mabi and WoW. Cant wait for g7.

I would say mabi is different tho in the sense you are talking about. Sure, there's kill, level, interacts, stronger skills ect. But it also adds a sense of strategy and real tim action that WoW does not. Your clicks need to be precise, and you need to know where you are standing. You have to be very aware of your surrondings or you will die. Mabinogi is an MMO in its own catagory. its an MMORTRPG (MMORealTimeRPG)

@DungeonFighterGHOST Some people can't really spam arrows. And any bow comes with an accuracy load, that if they don't reach an adequate percentage then they don't hit, and you may die.

The strategy comes in the combat, which requires you to think about what you do beforehand, or you risk death in-game. There are skills that aid in this strategizing, but since there's so much, why don't you play the game, finish all the beginner quests, and come back if you have anything else to dispute.

The Eagle and Pelican are both permanent pets. They will always be avalable. The thunderbird on the other hand seems to be a limited edition pet. At least, the Japanese version of Mabinogi currently does not sell the Thunderbird anymore. You won't give a damn about the Thunderbird until its gone.
