this is an old video, they eventually give it full carbon doors, and got rid of the headlights and put in blank plastic covers, to top of it i dont think its street legal anymore, they have a newer video from ignition on the gtr special.

Mines of the road for a few more months.. preparing it for track next year,, not going over board on weight reduction as i want it to look like a street package.. so far for the list.. no air con, attessa, boot, ditch the rear wiper motor and few little tricks here and there.. can you give us a insight of what you have done?

R32's are not "light" but they are "the lightest of the modern, AWD GTR's"

btw, they're not exactly "super heavy" either - 1430kg isn't that bad, mine is down to 1320kg (2900lb!) with minor weight reduction. I weighed it.

Compare that with the new R35 GTR, 997 turbo, etc - or even against its contemporaries, the MKIII supra, etc - it's not a heavy car.

mine was 1380 when it went over the weightbridge with 3/4 tank fuel no lightweight mods, and its a 94 . so seems about right!, cheers
