Yes however what seems to be on the table is a design of being (human) that can do all these things ie digest, evolve, adapt over many ages etc, learn to hunt. There are many ways to transfer energy. Breathing in your lungs and skin transfers it, and so does feeling a breeze on your skin, or standing on a rotating vessel. Feeling heat or cold, consuming water, being pushed over, spinning or experiencing gravity.

However it happened (and I have no clue if what he said is correct), I'm sure it's very interesting, and to do with physics (and possibly magnetism).
