I can't hear a harmonica on this recording. First time I've heard this. I love the famous live version, in which Stevie really showcases his talents in part 2, leading the band with what seem to me like improvisations like "Mary Had A Little Lamb", or is it "London Bridge is Falling Down"?
The eight "wonder" of the world. This young man at that time could sing, play the harmonica, piano/organ, bongo and drums. This album was made in 1962 when he was 12 years old. I don't think anybody has heard of a 12 year old being that multi-talented, much less a blind twelve year old. Stevie was given to us as a gift from God's love and he has done nothing but bless us time and time again with his beautiful masterpieces. The man is a gifted genius if there ever is one.
Nope, this was released in September of 1962, not '63. So at the most he was 12. A review mentioned he was 11 at the time, so perhaps he was 11 when they started making the songs, but yeah, most likely he was 12, not 13 for sure.
great SPY tune, I think I'm gonna strip to it!!!

He was amazing. And at first, I thought it was Tyler James Williams from "Everybody Hates Chris".

He was born on May 13, 1950. This was released on May 21, 1963. So if anything he was nearer 13.
