So many people it seems have given your version a try - I've been playing it for a while now. (I just got 'round to uploading a video of me playing this song - with 1 or 2 ad libs.)

  • Thank you very much Dom, your work is marvelous!

Merci beaucoup pour tout ce temps passé à partager ton savoir et tes compétences avec les autres!

  • great job Dom. thanks to you i have learned this masterpiece! Mucho Mahalos and if you come out to kauai again soon look me up!

  • Just another viewer who thanks you for sharing your tabs and these tutorials with the rest of us!

  • Thanks a lot dominator! You are awesome and you are so kind to share your knowledge and tabs with us.

I was inspired by your videos and made my own cover of this song, based on Paul McCartney's version. I really love your own version, please keep it up with more Beatles tunes!

  • please make a tab, its easier to understand

  • Hmm, if you read the video notes you will see that the tab is available on my site.

  • Wow, I Never thought of this being played with a uke

    It sounds good!

Im debating between getting one or not and this video made up my mind for me! *runs to the guitar center store*

    :D

  • Im 30. Do you think its too late for me to get as good as you?

  • Na, never too late. Just go for it. You will do just fine.

  • my dads 50 and he just started learning uke and guitar youll do fine

  • @parthonoun You have sooooo many years ahead of you. You should be ashamed you just said that =P go for it!

  • Great instructional video. Being a beginner, it would have been nice if you went more in depth with the strumming but I guess this video isn't really for beginners. Never the less its so well documented and presented I'm getting by just fine. Thanks again!

  • Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't really play a specific strumming pattern throughout the song. I basically play it a little different each time based on how I "feel" the music at that particular moment. This, however, comes from years of playing and most likely won't come easy to a beginner.

Once you do get there, you can learn a song quickly using good tabs without having to get caught up in playing them exactly as they are tabbed, thereby injecting some of your own style into the piece.

  • Great video from a great teacher. Thanks to you, I learned a great arrangement that will always be a part of my repertoire.

  • Dominator - as always great job with the tab and tutorial! Thanks for all the effort!

  • Thank you so much for teaching us so patiently and so well. Congratulations. I am really trying to learn. You are fantastic!

  • Thanks to all of you. ChronosXD, Ken, Charlester, Captain, Mark and everyone else who participated did a super job on the videos. I will definately learn much from them over the next several months if I apply myself. Thanks again.

  • Great work !

The printed tab and a pen are also useful while watching this(expression etc) ;-)

  • Congrats on a well deserved victory!

  • Well done. It was a great contest and your entries were terrific. Thanks very much. KEN.

  • Thanks Dom! I always love your lessons and have used several of your tabs. Keep up the good work. Maybe someday I can play half as well as you can.

  • Keep them coming :) I am still really stoked that you got that version of Super Mario brothers I emailed you a while back figured out, thanks a bunch!

  • Great! Now the tip of my ring finger is practically bleeding from learning the "bend".. :) I guess I'll jump ahead to lesson #2 and come back to this later.

This is still a masterpiece though.. Thanks again.

  • Awesome Dominator!!!

  • thanks for taking the time to share this with us. Good work, this will really help.
