  • I'm taking a knots and ropes test on monday. This is gonna save my ass. Thanks so much from a future firefighter.

  • I hadn't seen this one before. Looks faster than the techniqe I learned in my basic training - thanks.

  • Thank you so much this helped me with my Fire Tech R.O.P class at fire station 129

  • What is it with firefighters and big mustaches.... lol

Maybe it shields their lip from fire...haha

  • I also have found an easy way to tie the clove hitch. Cross your arms, grab the rope, then uncross them. This gives the opposing loops and the rest is the same! Great job on the videos. Its nice to watch from time to time for a refresher. Thanks!

  • Excellent, easy explanation of a clove hitch....bro...YOU...ARE...THE...MAN... Favorited this.

  • sweet smoke effects dude. LOL

  • Good knots but man learn how to teach step by step! This is why I hate expert village.

  • This is fine if the pole you are placing the knot on an unattached object but don't firefighters come across poles or pipes that are afixed to the ground?

  • @FunnyGirl1225: He has another video thats is titled "clove hitch to object"

  • Only works if you have an object that is free standing but most times you want to use a clove hitch on a pole that is afixed to the ground....better to teach out to tie it instead of slipping the knot on
