Nice battle man. I myself dont really use siege gear.....maybe I am weird but I find too many handicaps in it. I love doing hit and run and surrounding my foes. I usually sit back and let the missiles take their toll on the enemy. One I am out of arrows then I charge my weaker guys into the center and my shock troops to the flanks and back. Thanks for another great vid brother!

Yeah I agree about onagers being pretty harmless except on hilly turrain, but he doesn't have archer support to make it more effective. Plus, with him having the onagers so close behind his spartan hoplites like that, sometimes the onagers mis-fire and the stone only goes like 2 feet and that could kill some of his own hoplites. Good job on all the vids and keep up the good work. I should see about challenging you online sometime.

@paparoach99 no dude, those spartans got butchered because of the bad tactics of the player ( samurai, no offence 2 him ) in a real battle those spartans wouldent of moved and isolated themselves and they would of had more variety in their army. most probably resulting in a greek victory

You know, I've never seen the point of using onagers unless your enemy is trapped in a city or something. I was fighting maybe a squad of twelve-fifteen elephants, but the onagers took out 5 or more of them. If the enemy hadn't killed himself [it was a CPU either way, and they're quite stupid at times] then the enemy would have won the battle. That's why you won't see me using seige equipment unless there is a seige.

At Leuctra. I can't remember the size of the spartan army but i remember there was only about 800 spartan soldiers involved, the rest being armed slaves. Superior tactics defeated them, spartans were always old fasioned
