You can get an alienware with 10 times the specs for the same p rice as a macbook pro. If you want the less hassle go for mac, but if you have a few braincells go for PC.

I know Photoshop runs on both..I friggin have it on my PC that I'm posting this from. And yes I know that graphics quality depends on the graphics card. Also...yeah I don't have any experiential knowledge with a mac so this is all hearsay.

Dont be ridiculous. Its not better for graphics. I am in computer modeling and texturing and Mac's don't even support the main programs that i use. It doesnt get more graphic than that. Graphics depend on a Graphics card. Less hassle, i disagree. I dislike their file system. More secure...for the moment, They run on Unix, a free source code. If Mac ever gets popular enough for hackers to care there are going to be tons of viruses. What will little apple do then? Go ahead spend $1,800

Yeah you have a paper thin laptop. For $2,500 I can get a quad core PC with 2 video cards in SLI, 8 GB of RAM DDR2 800 with vista ultimate, a PS3, a 360, and a 45" LCD HDTV. Great idea purchasing a glorified notepad.
