yeah gay colossus sucks but ultimate colossus defeated Iron Man and Thor in physical combat and withstood getting attacked by wolverine's claws(even the Hulk didn't manage that)so the ultimate version is really powerful...

Pryde of the X-Men was a pilot for a cartoon series that was never picked up. Marvel went back to the drawing board and eventually came back with the series in the 90's.

"Pryde of the X-Men" was thought to be the pilot of an animated series of the X-Men, but it had been never developed because, if I have not misuderstood, some mistakes in the pilot (like for example Emma Frost in the Brotherhood).
So it took three years to get an animated series of the X-Men, but this series is NOT a sequel to "Pryde of the X-Men".
I really wanted to see a Colosus vs. Juggernaut fight in X-men 3, but the only appearances I remember of Colosus was throwing Wolverine at a sentinel at the start of the movie and throwing him again at Magneto near the end. Kinda lame huh? The first movie started with everyone having equal roles but in the third Wolverine was the frontman and the others were just backup singers.

yup, it's time for another one on one battle with juggernaut. they've thrown blows a few times over the years, but usually with outside interuption. I can only think of one time it was just those two fighting, and juggernaut won. that was when colossus was a youngster. its time for a rematch.
Colossus can lift +100 tons now. his strength level is similar the the original abomination, he surpasses the thing and luke cage. his strength level is comperable to juggernaut, be he doesn't match in endurance.
I ike all these discussion about Colossus not being a permanent member of X-Men. They give space for other boring characters such as Rogue (who doesn't even met Miss Marvel to get her powers).

If they ever make another X-Men series for tv, I seriously hope the Colossus will be a permanent member! Forget Rogue. The Colossus is the TRUE powerhouse of the team! For cryin' out loud, he lifts at least 100 tons! He was one of my most favorite heroes when I was a kid and he's still as badass as ever!

Colossus lifting up to 70 tons is true, but that's when Colossus was pretty young. As the years went by, his strength level climbed dramatically.

another marvel cartoon mistake. looks like juggernaut is taller than colossus in the cartoon. in the marvel universe, colossus is taller. its time for a colossus/juggernaut rematch. its been way too long since colossus has gone toe to toe with juggernaut and his "magic" rock.

its true. the artists take alot of liberties with the characters when they draw them. the marvel universe lists colossus @ 7'-5" (armored form).
juggernaut is listed @ 6'-10".
the thing is listed @ 6'-0".
and the hulk's size goes up and down depending on how angry he is.

i'm not sure what you ment by expendable. i'm referring to the hulk being tallest at his "savage form", 8'-0". he's also liste @ 6'-6' as the grey hulk, and 7'-6". those are the most rescent numbers in the listed in the marvel universe. of cours the way things are going now, marvel will have him listed @ 10' tall in no time.

Colossus was always my favorite and as much as a love the Piotr/Kitty pairing (and BELIEVE ME I do) The gay Ult. Colossus decision was probably one of the best decisions of the whole Ult. X line.
Unfortunately Ult. Colossus hasn't quite figured out that Northstar is a flaming douche. :/

I cannot believe you dug up the footage from the old Pryde of the X-Men. I remember seeing this cartoon when I was 7 or 8 years old. Worst part of the whole show was Wolverine with an Australian accent and not one mention of back bacon.
