This doesn't approach the soul of the song like Alice Cooper's. The vocals don't have the emotion to pull you around, the guitar's are the same and if your going to add some metal riffs( 1:55--on)your fucking the song up. This song is about punk, angst, bitting. i enjoy both alice cooper's version and creed's version. its hard to tell which version is better. although, alice cooper's version could have done with more/better guitar solos
I've heard cooper's version tons of times, but I gotta admit, both instrumentally and vocally, Anthrax' version reakky is supreme. A tad quicker I believe, and the vocals are just awesome!
Scott's rock voice is way better then Cooper's. People may hate his voice but when you are in the rock genre you HAVE to have the deep raspy voice that Scott so naturally has. I like Creed's version alot better.
You guys should check out this other cover I heard of it. The singer was Don Dokken, but I don't really remember who else was in it. I think the guitarist may have been Michael Schenker or one of the Kulick brothers. It was pretty good, but not quite as good as the original (obviously).
I remember this cover came out when I was 18. I was 18 and I didn't know what I wanted. Funny 11 years later I don't think I answered that question yet.
Alice Cooper version's better but the only videos of it I can find here are live and not as good.

This doesn't approach the soul of the song like Alice Cooper's. The vocals don't have the emotion to pull you around, the guitar's are the same and if your going to add some metal riffs( 1:55--on)your fucking the song up. This song is about punk, angst, bitting. Not modern compressed metal fuzz and mondo-mindless-fluff for extra added flavor for today's teen who hears God at 2:05 sec. Long live The Blonde Bomber-he still knocking them down

I've heard cooper's version tons of times, but I gotta admit, both instrumentally and vocally, Anthrax' version reakky is supreme. A tad quicker I believe, and the vocals are just awesome!

Scott's rock voice is way better then Cooper's. People may hate his voice but when you are in the rock genre you HAVE to have the deep raspy voice that Scott so naturally has. I like Creed's version alot better.

You guys should check out this other cover I heard of it. The singer was Don Dokken, but I don't really remember who else was in it. I think the guitarist may have been Michael Schenker or one of the Kulick brothers. It was pretty good, but not quite as good as the original (obviously).
